The Fairmont has not aged well. It is clear there is an effort to rejuvenate this iconic hotel, but it was not at all as presented in the listing. The room, pool, common areas are all VERY dated. The room was dark and depressing. Housekeeping never showed up during our stay. We had to keep requesting coffee etc. but the staff is clearly working hard to provide stellar service

Overall sub par from the moment you checked in. No help with the baggage. No help finding our room. No pool service (not even a person to tell you where to get towels). Bathrooms had warped doors with water damage. The Starbucks in the hotel was great and the valet staff was very friendly. Don’t waste your money.
