As a working professional, went to dallas furst time and checkin after a long flight from chicago and the reception says that they dont have room for me and my wife on a reservationwe made more than two weeks before. Never happened in my life. Funny part is there were a few more checking in after me but most likely they must have been more important people that this little family. Hyatt as a brand definitely does not care about hospitality but rather profits. I did not realized this way of making more profit in long run. Thanks

Very Nice Grapevine Hotel
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Shuttle service was a nice bonus. Shower was hot w/plenty of water. Room was spacious. Only down side was insufficient electrical outlets next to the bed to plug in a CPAP. I had to disconnect the bedside lamp to open one up, and that required some gymnastics to achieve.

I liked how close it was to shops which was our main reason for stopping in Dallas. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Unfortunately this building looks neglected, damaged furniture within the room and a layout that seemed to be an after thought. The bathroom vanity with sink was part of the lounge room which is odd. Only one lift working and consider the door was closed off it may have been like this for a while. If you're just sleeping here, its fine.

Overall this was a nice place to stay. The property was very quiet and the staff were friendly. Well centered for easy access to everything in grapevine. The breakfast was not great but it's complimentary. The croissant and potatoes were like eating sand. The menu available for their onsite food service states their full menu is available during the day with a limited menu available after hours. When I inquired about getting a hamburger at lunch time, I was advised they only have cheese pizza or a sandwich available.

Staff was friendly but room was very dated, worn and carpet was very unclean especially around the edges. Toilet did not work well, faucet handle fell off. Also the AC unit was right beside the bed which blew air on you and was very noisy. Had to keep on cause it was so hot.
