The room and the couch bed was dirty. We had payed for two queen beds and the receptionists gave us one queen bed and one couch bed. When we told her to change us from room she said no and just gave us bed sheets for us to change on the couch bed.

I was in town for the weekend, had a great experience at a different La Quinta in completely different state so I figured I’d give this particular La Quinta location a try. Off top, this hotel is kinda difficult to find. You cannot see this hotel from the road. When I finally pulled in, I noticed immediately that the front parking lot is particularly small. They are doing some remodeling work so parking in the back lot was kinda limited & honestly I didn’t feel comfortable parking my car back there because at night; the area can feel slightly sketchy. People roaming around & a couple of abandoned cars just sitting in the lot as well. There was someone who patrolled the hotel in the evening which was nice. The room, I had zero complaints about, bed was comfortable. Front desk was very friendly! Easy check in as well. My son enjoyed the pool & the gym.

I expected more from this hotel chain. The front desk was left unattended for extended periods. Our room was large but the a/c & fan unit controls didn’t work and the bathroom walls were dirty with spill marks and hair. I got the impression the hotel may have been popular at one time but the surrounding area seems to be going down hill. The lobby furniture is worn and needs replacing. The times I spoke with staff were pleasant. But we will not be returning.

Let me first start with noting that this hotel was not the easiest to find. It’s located in the very back of 2 other hotels, not visible from the street it’s located on. Pulling up I immediately noticed how unsafe the area was. There were a ton of broke down non working cars, that looked as if they had been sitting for years parked in multiple stalls. I go check in thinking maybe the inside was decent. The front desk attendant was a very nice man. I asked about safety he confirmed my concerns then said well we have security driving around outside all night. Since it was midnight and we were tired I checked in. Walking to our room the hallway was disgustingly nasty. The carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed or cleaned in weeks. We get to our room it was decent. Pulled the sheets back and there was a stain. I took pictures, called the front desk to ask for house keeping only to be told they only have housekeeping during business hours. However was told I could come downstairs and pick up new sheets. I go down there show the attendant the pictures. I asked for a refund so I could go find another hotel. I was told no I’d have to wait until the morning when the manager came in.

Was there for long Holiday weekend..Property dirty, area does not look safe at all and they did not have a complete breakfast juice was out Saturday would not be stocked till Friday house keeping said I was there till Monday.
