Ruined New Year’s Eve!
We were staying for New Years Eve, expecting to be on the patio for the fireworks at midnight. Unknown to us they closed this at 10pm which was ridiculous. The hotel was overrun on the ground with people not staying in the hotel. The experience could have been so much better had hotel management prepared for this. We stay in this hotel during the summer for the pool and thought New Year’s Eve would be great, but it was just a mess due to poor hotel planning.

It was very disappointing that even after booking with over a month in advance and asking the check in lady if we had a reunion tower view and she confirmed yes, we didn’t get it. By the time we got back in line and talked to someone the manager said he couldn’t do anything but asked first how we made the reservation. Does it matter? I guess it matters when you book through Expedia. Very disappointed we only did the reservation to take our kids and watch fireworks through the room and they couldn’t make that happen because we booked through Expedia.
