The hotel served its purpose... hot shower and a bed to sleep in for the night. It was a non smoking room but it smelled like marijuana and cigarettes. There were no rooms for miles because of the Grambling PV game. Otherwise there is no way that I would havr stayed there. Men yelling at me to get my attention as I walked upstairs to my room. I was honestly afraid to leave the room. I left as soon as the sun came up even though I didnt have to be at an event until 10am. As stated it served it's purpose and for that im grateful. This room or sleep in my car... i would choose this room.

Poor Air Conditioner
This particular trip we wanted to avoid the Dallas traffic, but still wanted to have acceptable shopping and dining in the immediate area. Everything worked out well except for the air conditioning in room 203 at the head of the stairs. I will always tell everyone which room we stayed in for the benefit of travelers and for the hotel/motel in charge of service. In short, the air conditioning in room 203 was inefficient to the extent that it did not sufficiently cool the room until about 1:30 AM (yes, after midnight). Otherwise, it would have been a very nice stay. We did not partake of the continental.

Wow...was a positive surprise...This facility gets a 5-star rating from me, the seasoned traveler...I am on the road 30 weekends a year...This Super 8 is Super...The staff/owner very friendly and helpful.

This was obviously an older hotel but the rooms had been redone and everything was in good shape. I believe this is the nicest Super 8 I've ever stayed in especially with respect to the quality and comfort of the bed.

Cold Shower
Three of us stayed in our room and only one of us was fortunate enough to have a hot shower and this was at 5:00-6:00 in the morning. We went down for breakfast at 7am and there was coffee bananas and a few pastries. Not much of a selection at all. The beds were comfy and slept well. Thats about the extent of it. Not enough towels...had shampoo but no conditioner. Toilet handle was broken. Just thought for the price it could have been a lot better!!!!

I have stayed@this Super 8 one other time,it was acceptable,not so this time,the television only had 10 working channels,the coffeemaker was broken,the wash basin was stopped up,the electric plugs we're so worn out you couldn't plug anything in because it would fall out of the plug,they got mad@the front desk when I asked for extra coffee,before I knew the coffeemaker was broken,it appeared as if they just wanted to take in money,not spend any on upkeep! I most definitely not stay@this motel again!

Super 8 Forney, TX - perfect for what we needed
My husband and I picked is hotel because of its proximity to the interstate and because it is pet friendly. We got in late and the night manager was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we slept well. The room did smell a little, kinda like smoke, but it was bearable. Good deal for the price.

Good for Road Trip I-20 East of Dallas
We stayed here because they allowed pets, they were on the way out of Dallas on 20 (avoiding rush hour traffic), and they were cheap! We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and convenience to gas and food. It is a very small hotel so if you want to swim, you have to feel comfortable with lots of eyes on you. Also, it is quite a jaunt off I-20, so it seems like it is very out of the way, but it is a nice drive, maybe 4 miles, and you can get back on a eastbound freeway that goes directly to I-20 when you leave. It had an acceptable bed and didn't smell bad. I recommend it. Pet fee was $10.

the hotel super 8 in forney tx .had a good location good price the room was clean but when i made the reservation i ask for two beds for two adults and three kids i recive a e-mail or recip that say i don't have to call the hotel to confirm the reservation and i didn't so when we arrive the hotel about two am the person in front desk told me he have only a one room with one bed that sound terrible we where tire and was too late to find another hotel,find a another hotel why ?i made my reservation two weeks in advance to avoid this ,also the person in fron desk was mad or upset i not sure but he toldme was my fault becasue i not call to confirm, i think why call i paid in advance use or not i paid,so the room is ok but the person who atendme wasnot.
