Virginia Creeper Overnight Stay
We enjoyed our one night stay at the Old Mill. The location is perfect for all activities in Damascus. Very walkable to downtown. The room was impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable with quality bedding. I would stay here again.

Wonderful inn, aboout the cleanest i have experienced. Great friendly helpful polite staff.the surrounding is also wonderfully the river runs right in the back ,ducks geese. So peaceful quit atmosphere. You can sit outide and have dinner or drinks,, coffee .or what ever you like .the rooms are very decorated clean and comfortable. Breakfast was all you could ask for .i never had any better even at the more expensive motels was is not as nice as the Old Miol inn.Just off I-81 east Exit 19 turn right and About 7 miles down to the inn .Its in Damascus Virginia .avery small community.theres a park just across the parking area also for walking picnic or what ever you desire .We will definitely stay again .

I called about late check in and when we arrived no one was there. We walked all around the property and it was completely locked up. Walked into several cobwebs. Looked in windows and tables were not very nice. Looked abandoned. Phone was never answered.

What a lovely setting! We had dinner at their restaurant on site overlooking the mill stream! The room accommodations were nicely appointed and very comfortable. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. We hope to return there again to visit more of the shops in the town and surrounding areas.

What a lovely hotel. Totally entertaining from top to bottom. Porches galore all fronting the Laurel Creek & dam. Nature at it best! Walk to town, shops & all that Damascus has to offer. We will be back!

The staff and bartender were excellent. But we thought we were booking the mill inn instead we were put into the old house across the street. It was quaint and clean but i dont think it was worth 200 a night. The tv remote didn’t work the tv. No instructions anywhere for anything. The ac wasn’t working properly. The free breakfast was cold ,coffee luke warm no microwave or way to heat things up. It just wasn’t worth 200 a night.

The staff at the Old Mill Inn were wonderful. We had rented a cabin and it was sold and we were left with no where to stay. The Old Mill Inn staff came to our rescue and even though full got us rooms including for our daughter and her dog!

Charming, clean and right on the water
Cute Inn and excellent rooms. Our room was in an older house across the walk. Beautifully decorated, they thought of everything and it was very comfortable and extremely clean. The food in the restaurant was decent although a bit pricey but happy to have a meal on a Sunday night when everything else was closed. The managers were very friendly and helpful. Inn is right on the water and my son was happy to hop out of the car and start fishing while I checked in. Would stay here again.

Every interaction with the staff, regardless of the role, was excellent. Our room was comfortable and the facility had great outdoor seating options next to the stream and waterfall. One area that does need some attention is the kitchen. Breakfast was disappointing and the quality of the our dinner - lemon garlic pasta - was below par. That said, we would certainly stay here again.
