BEACH TRAIL BUNGALOW is just minutes away from so many of the amazing amenities Dana Point has to offer. This beautiful and charming 1 bedroom / 1 full bathroom condominium style home is the perfect retreat for a small vacationing family or single couple. It’s ideally situated in the quiet, gated community of Monarch Hills in the luxurious larger community of Ritz Point. You can walk to the beach, Dana Point Harbor, Dana Point Headlands, The Ocean Institute, shops and restaurants, however, BEACH TRAIL BUNGALOW is located on a hill so it is best to have a vehicle.

BEDROOM & BATHROOM: BEACH TRAIL BUNGALOW sleeps maximum of 6. Two comfortably in a king size bed and up to an additional 4 on full size futon sofas in the family room. The oversized tub / shower is spacious but does make the bathroom cozy.

KITCHEN & DINING: This fully outfitted and offers tons of light through the bay window. The separate dining area adjacent to the kitchen is perfect for entertaining or hosting a game night with your friends and family during your stay.

FAMILY ROOM: This spacious gathering room offers a large flat screen TV, and a gas fireplace. The local stations and other stations are through HULU plus and the internet service is through Cox. Wifi is password secured and is included.

OUTDOORS: Plenty of seating on the balcony! With access from both the kitchen and master bedroom it’s great for entertaining or just enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. There is a full size washer and dryer are located in a closet off the balcony near the master bedroom. This special vacation hideaway offers a single covered parking stall for 1 car. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards provided for your use.

MANAGEMENT: Very clean and professionally managed. Vacation Concierge is available 24/7 for any questions, issues or concerns that come up during your stay.

SUITABILITY: Non-Smoking home. Must have an adult(s) 21 or older staying at the house during the term of the stay. BEACH TRAIL BUNGALOW is located on the 2nd floor of a 3 story building. There are two flights of stairs, no elevator.

LOCATION: Dana Point is a city located in southern Orange County, California. It has one of the few harbors along the Orange County coast, and with ready access via State Route 1 (the famous Pacific Coast Highway or PCH). Dana Point and surrounding communities of Laguna Beach and San Clemente are popular local destinations for surfing.

ATTRACTIONS: BEACH TRAIL BUNGALOW is just up the road from the O.C. Dana Point Harbor and downtown Dana Point. Located towards the northern section of Dana Point referred to as ‘Monarch Beach’, it is just a short 15 minute drive into the beautiful and 'artsy' seaside town of Laguna Beach. It’s also convenient and within a short 15 minute drive (or a 30 minute bike ride for the more adventurous types) from the historic San Juan Capistrano where the Mission San Juan Capistrano and the quaint Los Rios District is surrounded with charming antique shops, restaurants, and art galleries. There’s even a petting zoo for the smaller members in your family!

The city was named after the headland of Dana Point, which was in turn named after Richard Henry Dana, Jr., author of ‘Two Years Before the Mast’, which included a description of the area. Dana described the locale, including neighboring San Juan Capistrano, as "the only romantic spot on the coast". Although Dana described the anchorage as poor, it is now a developed harbor and contains a replica of his ship, the Pilgrim. The Pilgrim is used as a classroom by the Ocean Institute, which is located at the harbor.
