Great location
We liked the location, staff was friendly place was clean. Only issue’s we has was the furniture is very dated, shower and tub is so old they glazed it over to try and make it presentable (it failed). Also we ordered a beach view and got it but evidently there is also a beach front view. There beach view is really a partial view of the beach. If we had that option we would had paid extra for that instead of our balcony facing other balconies and having a partial view of the beach. But overall for the money we were satisfied.

Love the location, staff, cleanliness and quiet. Hotel is in the older side so don’t expect perfection. Hotel is located right on the middle of south OC. At night you can listen to the ocean overall happy for my stay.

Great location (right across the street from the beach) and great views. The staff was super helpful when I dropped my car hey down the elevator shaft. They contacted their company who came out (eventually) and retrieved my key for me.

Love the view from the livingroom, but it's too bad there's no view from the actual bedroom. And the people upstairs sounded like they were moving furniture every single night at all hours of the night the entire time we were there. And the breakfast I think should be better for the price you pay for the rooms. Offering making your own waffle, cold cereal, packaged oatmeal, yogurt, and packaged pastries is not my idea of a continental breakfast. Most of the staff was very polite and helpful. One of the managers has a bad attitude and was very rude. Overall, it's just an overpriced average hotel...not sure if I would stay again. Maybe if they lowered the rates. But I guess I expected more for the price I paid.

I absolutely loved this inn by the beach!! It was lovely waking up next to the water every single day. DJ was super helpful at the front desk. The only thing I would say is "negative" is that the jets don't work well in the hot tub... but the view is spectacular, so that somewhat makes up for it hehe. Will def be staying here again :)

It was pretty much what I expected. It wasn’t a new building, but it had character and was spacious for our needs. We had a suite with a separate living room area and kitchenette that also had a basic fold out couch bed. The bedroom had two king size beds with lots of extra space, Each room had a TV. The breakfast was simple but had two waffle makers ready to go, two big round waffles made fresh in 2 1/2 minutes. Plates and utensils were disposable. Eggs were boiled, no bacon or sausage. A variety of cereal, pastries, yogurt and juice. A great location right across the street from the beach. You can see beach bonfires from the hot tub.

This was one of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in. For 250.00 a night the room barly fit a queen bed, dresser and 1 nightstand, 1 chair. Carpet was worn. There is a nightclub next door where you can here music and fighting until 2:00 am. Then the bar dumping there beer bottles in the dumpster all night, at the end of the hotel hallway. No water pressure and a horrible continental breakfast. Went to the office to either get my money back or get moved to another room and was told they didn’t have any other rooms available and since I had entered the room they would have to pro-rate my 1st day charge. Even though I walked into the room and back out.They also stated had I not booked through Experian they could have helped me.

Building was right across the street so that was nice and made for a quick walk. The rooms are ran down, updating is needed. The door lock and handle on the front door to our room was not secure and the patio door did not lock. Not a bad place but a good update is needed.

Staying here for a weekend getaway is almost always nice here, but there are always things that can happen... Likes: - Nice view of the beach (when you get a beachfront room) - Non-Stuffy Comfortable and pleasing to the eye. - Easy access to all rooms including two elevators. - Master bed and bedding is pretty comfy and clean. Dislikes: - Few ants inside the room and bathroom tub. - Not so clean corners of rooms with stains and other peoples hair. - Couch bed is atrociously unconfortable with 2" springs that you really feel. - Not enough chairs in suite. - Staff is frendly but not very personable. - Communication from staff is no-frills, and the very least to get the job done. - Cleaning Staff walked in on me without knocking. - Windows are so dirty that it's hard to appreciate the beach view. - Nott heir fault but we were awaken at 7:30am with tree cutters gas chain saw right outside our windows. - We were informed at the last moment of a water-main shut-off for several hours during our stay. - Room Clean-up is not automatic anymore... You have to schedule 24 hours ahaid to get your room cleaned. This was weird. :-(

Property was convenient and nice enough. Beachfront view was priceless. However, there were sugar ants all over the place. The front desk told us if we had food trash in our room, the ants would come. But we had no food and found ants crawling on us. My 4yr old got bit a couple times which welted up. Staff was kind and helpful. Stay was underwhelming.

The property itself is really nice, the room is great. We had a suite, it was very spacious and clean. There was a balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff members were all nice and helpful. Biggest problem is that we stayed on the right side of the hotel and next-door is a bar/club. The first night we did not get to sleep until after 2 AM because there were fights breaking out in the parking lot which was directly outside our bedroom window. Someone was going through the dumpster collecting bottles and cans also in the parking lot, the music in the club was thumping so loud until 2am and cars were screeching out of the parking lot. I realize that this is not the fault of the hotel yet I wish somebody would have warned us. The next night was just as bad if not worse because it would have appeared that some of the bar patrons were also staying in the room next to us so there was no sleep until after 3:30 AM. The other problem was the ants. We had brought snacks and cookies because we were there to celebrate my daughters 17th birthday. Both the snacks and the $20 cookies were infested by ants and we had to leave them there. For a $400/night hotel I expected more. I definitely recommend this hotel but I would request a room on the left side if you like sleep……and bring ant spray.
