Everything was fine except the facility itself is a little run down. My shower curtain was loose and and tilted it was hard to keep the showered curtain in place to keep the water from flooding the bathroom. I was traveling alone and I did feel very comfortable and safe while on the premises.

We only stated one night. The desk clerk was very very nice all around. Drive a block up the street to restaurant and others were close by. Good breakfast to get us started. The coffee pot in the room didn’t work and we reported it but not a big problem at all.

Overall, pleasant stay. Buffet breakfast, however, is typical of many hotels these days. Everything, including eggs and French toast, pre-cooked and quite tasteless. Would have loved to have some items cooked to order. Range of items (e.g., cereals, fruit) limited. For example, no bananas, and two of the three cereals were overly sugared. Staff in the breakfast room were courteous and helpful.

The price was very high, especially compared to other Comfort Inn and Suites we have stayed at. I ended up booking on line from my car, for a better rate, the girls at the front desk didn’t seem interested in giving us a senior discount, AAA, etc. I like Comfort Inn and Suites, but definitely won’t stay in Danbury again.
