"We fell in love with the cottage from the time we first entered - to find everything needed to make tea and biscuits, and a vase of flowers in the kitchen (and the unique feature - the cell door and barred windows on the old police cell!) The cottage had plenty of space and was very comfortable and well fitted - comfortable beds and linen, plenty of towels, well equipped kitchen and everything nice and clean.The heating system was of a type I had not previously encoutered, burning wood pellets, but the comprehensive instructions in the house guide made this easy to use and it worked perfectly. Add to this an ideal location for exploring the moors (and the local pubs and co-op), and this is a cottage I would love to return to another year."

"We stayed in Buttercup cottage. We were greeted by our host Rachel and made to feel very welcome. The cottage was spotlessly clean with everything we could need. The bedrooms were upstairs, a twin room which looked out over the countryside and also had velux windows for star gazing and the double room with velux windows. Downstairs was very spacious with a comfortable lounge, lovely dining room with a big table to eat round and take in the views, great kitchen with everything you need and so clean and a big bathroom with shower over the bath. We parked right outside our door. The garden had some lovely spots to sit in and listen to the wildlife around. We slept so well in comfortable beds and loved how peaceful and relaxing the place made us feel. We are already looking forward to planning our next stay. "

"This place was of a very high standard. One entered via a lovely sunroom with a comfortable couch and a view over the garden where we could see the birds on the bird feeder and the two naughty grey squirrels stealing the bird food. The kitchen/diner had everything including an Aga! On the table there was a heart shaped basket with treats in it too. The whole place was spotless and there was a comfortable lounge and TV. The bed was also very comfortable and we highly recommend this as a great place to stay."
