Not Sheraton Standards
The hotel is old, there is notinhg of Sheraton Standards there. It is very old , all the corridors has a strong smell from the carpt. We were given a room it was freshly painted, requested to changed room. We are attended immediately but does not change the fact that the hotel is in a very bad shape. The buffe restaurant is extremely limited. Even for the the breakfast

GREAT STAFF
Really good stay at the hotel. Really clean hotel with good bars and restaurants and facilities, but mainly due to the great staff that work at the hotel, from reception to, service staff and especially the bar and restaurant staff who were brilliant.

This property was close to the waterfront. Lots of road construction going on around it but not noisy, just difficult to navigate on foot. I felt safe walking around. I ate in the restaurant and it was reasonably good with a good choice and very generous portions.rooms were a good size. Friendly staff.

Im probably being harsh, as judging the Sheraton through American eyes, but this property is in need of repairs and an upgrade. The pool was falling apart in some areas, and the bathrooms need updating. The staff though are super helpful and friendly. There is not much one would want to see around the property (nor would you feel safe doing so), and there is also a massive road construction project going on outside the front entrance.
