Spectacular beach house location - Thundercove Beach

Overlooking the rugged coastline of PEI’s North Shore, you will discover the beauty of Pine Rose Beach House. Located in Thunderwood Estates, a private oceanfront gated community, our beach house offers you a perfect location for exploring this area just west of the busy National Park tourist area.

The bright open concept living area features an electric fireplace, and flat screen TV and lots of comfortable seating. The extra-large adjoining outdoor screened living room at least doubles our living space, and gives us numerous seating areas for friends and family, or for quiet relaxation. Our beach house is decorated tastefully throughout and our very steep roofline gives way to a vaulted ceiling running all the way to the top of the second story. The warm pine decor in the fully equipped kitchen complements the living room, with its harvest dining table and large sliding glass doors to the deck.

Accessibility
Our home has been designed with accessibility in mind for those with mobility issues. The main level is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp leading up to the deck level entry from the driveway, extra-wide doors to the main level bedroom with king bed, as well as to the bathroom with a low threshold step-in shower and a roll-up vanity / sink area with a counter height mirror and lots of space to get turned around. Exterior doors to the outdoor living room and waterside deck do have thresholds to navigate but the decking has been constructed to be even with the indoor floors to reduce barriers as much as possible.

Upstairs, there is a second bedroom with king sized bed. Here, the feature window wall gives you a lovely view of the ocean. There is a double and single bed in the third bedroom. The family bathroom upstairs has a tub/shower combination unit.

Outside, you can hear the sound of the surf from our large lot and deck. With our picnic table, BBQ, and fire pit, you will be able to relax and take advantage of our beautiful location. Walking, relaxing, swimming, beach combing and exploring the white sandy beach is sure to provide many hours of enjoyment. The beach is just a short walk from our door.

We are 15 minutes away from Malpeque Harbour, where you can have oysters fresh from the bay. There are seafood markets and restaurants nearby. Discover the nearby golf courses, craft and pottery shops, antique shops, and art galleries. Pine Rose Beach House is close enough to all of the Island’s best attractions, but far enough to fully escape for your PEI vacation.

Location, Location, Location!
Wonderful vacation at this wonderful beach house. Thunder cove beach is stunning. The house is well appointed, and had everything we needed. I would ask for more information in the guest binder. (Area highlights, restaurants, what’s open in the shoulder seasons, how to get down to the beach, if swimming is advisable,). Central island location, ideal for day trips. New sheets are needed for the two kings and more responsiveness from the management company would be appreciated
