Personally managed by the owners with great care & attention to detail the apARTment has views from your balcony to the town & river, a short walk into town & dedicated parking for your car.
This unique apartment is a perfect blend of art, design, comfort and understated luxury to make your stay in Dartmouth as enjoyable and memorable as possible. The apartment at dartmouth-selfcatering.com forms the top floor of our much loved Victorian villa and built on a sunny South facing valley, the apartment is a few steps down from road level and accessed via a footbridge to your own dedicated entrance. There is also a private off-street parking space (gold dust in Dartmouth!) a few yards from the main entrance. It is therefore ideal for guests who are looking for accommodation with easy access & close parking. We regret it is not suitable for small children under 5 years old.
Entering the property through the fantastic front door with its vintage porthole and ship lights you'll find the light & airy kitchen/dining room on your right. With sparkling quartz, worktops the kitchen is fully equipped with top quality appliances including Dishwasher, Fridge, Freezer, Neff Oven, Induction hob, Microwave & Nespresso Machine. Supplied with all cooking utensils, crockery, tea towels & washing up equipment you'll need for your stay. The Dining area with an original Ercol table & 4 chairs is large enough to relax in with 2 tub armchairs and ambient lighting for those special relaxing dinners.
At the end of the hallway is the roomy lounge with wonderful views over Dartmouth looking across to the rolling hills opposite. With two large 3 seater sofas, you can sit back and unwind or snuggle up to watch a movie! Samsung Smart TV, Blu-ray/DVD player and board games are provided.
The first double bedroom has french doors opening out onto a balcony with the most spectacular panoramic views down to the River & Town. With a bistro table & chairs, this is such an incredible spot to have breakfast or sit and enjoy a glass of wine (or two!). The second bedroom is the same size & has a Combi TV/DVD & hillside views from the large Velux window. The other side of the hallway is the bathroom, tiled in natural stone with large walk in shower with Hansgrohe fittings & full height towel radiator.
Being Artist/Designers we have really tried to make this apartment a truly special place to stay with equal attention to both style and comfort. The interior has been strongly influenced by classic mid-century design and Scandinavian style. Throughout the apartment, you'll find a mix of nautical objects, quirky sculpture, vintage signs and original art of course, which we are both so passionate about. Our previous holiday properties were selected for Alistair Sawdays 'Special Escapes', featured in Coast Magazine and rated as excellent on Trip Advisor as a result of the many outstanding reviews and repeat visitors we received.
With this wealth of experience, we aim to maintain these high standards and hope guests will continue to enjoy their stay with us and have the most fabulous holiday!

Superb property in excellent location
Immaculate and stylish property - actually looks better than the online photos. Everything has been carefully curated and thoughtfully presented. The wine, milk, scones, cream and jam were a delightful welcome. The balcony and living room window offer a superb view over the river and town and it is only a short walk down to the town centre. Quite steep so not for the fainthearted on the way up! It's a pretty town with great shops and the ferries were ideal so that we scarcely used the car once we were settled in. Great walks and scenery and lots of lovely places to visit. One of the best places we have stayed and we'll be back!

Perfect apartment

Great location with lovely views from the balcony and the added bonus of a dedicated parking space right outside. A lovely apartment, exceptionally clean and beautifully presented,Simon and Theresa had thought of everything. We went into Dartmouth several times on the number 90 bus, the stop literally round the corner. Using both the upper and lower ferries we visited, Brixham, Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Torcross by car.

Two bed-roomed apartment, with lovely lounge we great views. Bathroom with all the necessary's. Well equipped kitchen with table and chairs. Car parking space for one car. The apartment is 10 to 15 mins walk downhill into town. No steps or stairs to get into the apartment.

We were delighted with our stay at the apARTment. On arrival there were treats in the fridge to get our holiday started, as well as fresh flowers, thoughtful finishing touches. What a great week! The weather was very mixed during our stay but we had a wonderful apartment to stay in when the weather wasn't good. The apartment was everything and more, the little touches of flowers, wine, juice etc were lovely. We stayed with our 2 boys and we all had a great time. We visited loads of places despite the weather and enjoyed crabbing, steam trains, river cruises and more. Thank you for the restaurant recommendations they were all very good. We would definitely stay in the apartment again and would love to return to Dartmouth, Teresa and Simon are the perfect hosts.

Very well appointed apartment in a nice quiet location but near enough to everything you need during your holiday ! Stunning decor and well equipped we enjoyed our stay at the apartment everything was clean and tidy ! Bonus was the car parking space a rare thing in Dartmouth when staying in apartments most have you parking on public car parks ! We were greeted by the owner Simon and he showed us around the apartment very helpful and he added if we needed any info or ect just to ask them !

Beautiful location with beautiful views.
We had a wonderful week staying here. The apartment was beautiful. It was bright, spacious and airy with stunning, almost panoramic views over Dartmouth. The apartment was very stylish throughout with everything well cared for. There was also the added extra of having so much unique and quirky artwork in every room. The location was great. We parked the car at the apartment on the day we arrived and didn't need it again until we left. Pubs and shops were a 10 minute walk away and we were able to go for long walks each day by using the ferry and bus.

We loved the apartment. So clean and bright with great views over Dartmouth
We spent a lovely week here in June. There is plenty to do nearby and it's a treat to leave the car and walk to shops and restaurants in Dartmouth. Simon and Theresa were both hospitable and helpful. It is clear they have spent a great deal of time and effort to make the apartment special with high quality fittings and finish. We would highly recommend friends and family to visit Dartmouth and the apartment.

Three Night Stay in Dartmouth - April 2018
Lovely clean, stylish and meticulously kept apartment. Simon and Theresa were very welcoming, friendly and informative hosts. Very convenient parking space next to entrance. Eight minutes' walk to the centre of Dartmouth. Lovely River Walks and particularly enjoyed the Street to Slapton Sands coastal walk. Would definitely return hopefully for a week next time! Wow! An immaculate property which literally had everything
Me my wife and girls aged 5 and 2 had a wonderful time here. Theresa and Simon have made an incredibly beautiful apARTment! Everything is brand new and very stylish. Bread, cake, and various other nice touches in the fridge upon arrival. You won't need to pack anything other than your clothes and belongings, they've thought of everything. The views from the balcony are stunning! I spent many evenings sat out there enjoying a glass of wine listening to the radio via the excellent Bluetooth speaker provided. I could go on forever complimenting everything about the property but I don't need to - the pictures you see are a true reflection of how nice it is. We would definitely return, don't hesitate in booking, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Theresa and Simon for making our stay perfect. And the girls loved the use of your huge trampoline in the garden below.
