The check in was terrible. Showed up at 11:30 was told no rooms available check in was 3. I asked to double check and they said there was a room available. I said perfect they then told me there was a $10 fee per hour for early check in. What a joke will not be staying there ever again. What a terrible concept to charge for early check in when a room is available. Do they understand customer service?? Guess not

Nice hotel that is set back from the road so it's a little more private than some. The staff was amazing. The second shift desk employee was AMAZING. We had a few issues when we checked in, with the room and the TV. He insisted on coming to the room to help. Fixed everything. Was so nice and personable. Would definitely return when we are in town.

We stay there because it had a pool, but when we check in the pool was closed. I ask why they didn't post that on the website and they said they did. I show them the website whre it said pool under amenities and they had nothing to say. Plus the back door of the hotel didn't open with the room card. So you had to walk all around the hotel.

Our room smelt of old wet dog and we dont have any pets.. smelt of mildew and musty when i didnt smell nasty dog... the pipe under sink fell off i guess and when i turned water on my feet and pjs were soaked .. there was hair and nasty stuff all over the walls of shower.. i only stayed at this hotel with my family for the pool and jacuzzi but there was a sign that didnt say out of order it said stay out. The breakfast same every single day just simple waffle boiled egg cereal coffee juice muffins...the back door was open with a rock in it at all times the keys they give you dont work to open it and barly work to get in your room. I wasnt asked 1 time if i needed trash bags or new towels after not having service in room so i put towels down shoot and got none in return. The toliet seat was falling off when we first arrived and there was no extra supplies (tp,trash bags ) anywhere in the room or under the trash bag in can there was 2 tissues in the tissue box which if house keeper checked she would of known.... ( i use to be asst executive housekeeper and this room in my option was not acceptable to rent.. ) The room we got was suppose to be 2 queens it definitely was 2 full beds and we barley fit on our bed and our teenager and 4 yr old barley fit on theirs...

First room (408) door deadbolt & latch mechanism were both broken. Second room (412) deadbolt not working. Third Room (422) TV not working. Fourth room (410) everything working but found someone's left over dinner in the fridge. Was too scared to open it and see. Too tired to go rounds again with the front desk. Gentleman at front desk was super embarassed and did everything he could to help. It was just way beyond his expertise. The Baymont either is the same Hotel as the Days Inn or was changing over because all the door number plaques were actually Days Inn. Appeared to be some long term residents of the hotel also. If you are looking for a quick overnight stay while travelling, go down to the next exit at least.

The Pool is Broken, of course
We went for my son's birthday. All he wanted was to stay at a hotel with a pool. When we got there they told us the pool was closed and needed a heater. They offered to let us cancel our stay but we had no where else to go last minute and I was traveling with my two kids and my dog. I also had to pay extra for my pet's stay which was not discussed ahead of time. I'm glad I had the money to cover it and the large damage deposit. I imagine that can be a deal breaker for some families. Since we came to swim and there was no pool, we ended up spending several long hours in the room together. The room was clean and tidy and comfortable, but with only a handful of television shows on the TV, it was disappointing. The staff was really nice and they sent someone to help with the TV remote that didn't connect to our television.

Checked in and inquired about swimming facilities to be told that they have been under "repair" upon talking to staff was informed that they have been repairing it for over 2 years.... website did NOT state this. The only thing hot about the breakfast was hot water for oatmeal and a waffle maker... very disappointed.

Traveling across country and needed to stay one night in this area and came across this hotel. For a one night stay it sufficed for me. Some of the amenities were lacking but you can tell that the staff is making an effort to make things accommodating.

It was ok…
The room was nice but the cleaning of it wasn’t as it should be (hair on the bathroom floor and in the tub), bathroom counter didn’t look like it was cleaned and the faucet and mirror had toothpaste platters on them. Beds are comfy and the a/c worked which is what we were looking for.
