Holiday House is a private retreat that backs the Monongahela National Forest and is conveniently located between Davis and Canaan Valley. Timberline and Canaan Ski resorts, a golf course, hiking trails, shopping, and restaurants are just minutes way. This nicely furnished and fully equipped home provides everything you need for the perfect stay any time of the year. Nestled in the woods in the gated and private community of Northpoint, the 4 bed, 3.5 bath home comfortably sleeps ten. Whether you are planning on enjoying the view on the deck or covered porches or cozying up by the woodburning fireplace to watch the leaves or snow fall, this home has all the amenities you need.
Holiday House features CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING, a unique feature here in mountains. The three-level home allows for plenty of space for spending time together and apart. The main level includes a Living area with kitchen and dining area, along with a bedroom that has direct access to the deck and hot tub. Lower-level features one bedroom and a bath with jetted tub and a rec area with pool table, television and plenty of board games to entertain. The lower level also has an exterior entrance to an additional porch with seating and a swing. The third floor has two more bedrooms for quiet time. If the main level and the lower level are too hectic, you can retreat to the detached entertainment suite.
The detached suite, above the garage is an open concept space with an additional kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with a TV and half bath. The view and multiple sliding glass doors allow for a Zen like space to enjoy quiet solitude in the morning, or a late-night dinner/movie while the others sleep. With easy access from the main level deck, this suite is an added luxury few homes have.

Good but could be better
Excited for our long weekend trip. The attached kitchen area over the garage had a leaking sink which my girl had parked in there and it leaked through the floor onto her car hood. Had to fix it just tighten up everything on p trap. Pool table had 1 working que stick but it was warped, there was 4 others but no tips on them! The dryer was packed slam full of linens from previous stay I suppose. For the price I would’ve expected better but overall it’s a nice place. Also the driveway is very steep would not much turn around area either so you have to somehow turn yourself around so you can go out ahead first so to speak..
