We’ve been visiting Coral Sands for over 10 years now and have sadly watched the decline of this hidden gem! While the staff does an amazing job keeping this hotel clean, the decline in building conditions is outpacing their efforts. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel in the past year that either the elevators, vending, or laundry rooms were out of service. With our most recent stay we were assigned a room on the 4th floor and told the elevators are out of service. The staff did not offer any assistance getting our luggage to our room. Luckily this was a short over night stay so we packed lite. The building itself has not been maintained and is showing its age. The rooms are clean, but aging as well with clogged showers and outlets that pull away from the walls. Getting a good room is kinda luck of the draw! We will not be staying at this hotel again. It is no longer worth the convenience when there are always problems with the facility.

Overall the room was fairly clean and there was no problems with the room itself. The problems lie with the check in. I arrived at 11:15 PM and while that is late this is the first hotel I’ve been to that shuts down the lobby. This wouldn’t be a problem except it was cold, raining and windy. All the forms I had to sign to check in were drenched as well as my clothes. This is because you check in outside looking through a small window. Common sense from a receptionist would think maybe let this person in so they aren’t in the cold rain blowing sideways.

I have to say this place was perfection. I have stayed in many nice hotels throughout my travels and i came upon this place last minute. The Oceanview was breathtaking! The rooms were very clean. Very cozy comfortable. Its not the plaza hotel or a fancy hotel in London. Its not "updated" But i have to say dont change anything its Just Perfect!!!!!!! 😉Great staff too 👍 😊

We were delighted at the reasonable price to stay here since hotel prices are so high anymore and this is right on the beach. Thank you Coral Sands! Plus you gave us a free upgrade since it was a slow time, that was an unexpected perk. There is no breakfast here (not a problem) so we planned accordingly.

Excellent choice!
The location was beautiful, peaceful and convenient. It’s not the Ritz but it’s a nice place, bug free, escape to the beach. Next time I’ll be checking out the cottages.

Hotel interior was nothing like images on the website. ESPECIALLY restroom’s condition was very very different. (There was a damp and musty smell) Mold was scattered in several place. Staff said they upgraded our room, but I thought it was downgrade. But bed was clean and staff was friendly.
