Great 3 day stay
We stayed for three nights in two rooms over Thanksgiving while visiting family nearby. Every single employee we saw had a smile and greeted us! I can't remember the last time we had this happen at any hotel. Everything was very clean, we even saw them deep cleaning the lobby furniture when we returned late one night. The breakfast was the typical hotel food, but still good with lots of options. Everything was great! We didn't spend much time at the hotel, mostly slept, grabbed a quick breakfast and was with family for the rest of the day until late, but it was perfect for our trip.

One night passing through
We arrived and were greeted by a young woman. She was very nice and very efficient. Another person arrived while I was being checked in. She didn’t rush me through. She continued to make me feel like I mattered. We got a pet friendly room as we were traveling with our Frenchie. The room did not smell of past pets. The bed was extremely comfortable. Our entire trip this was the first really great nights sleep. I had forgotten when breakfast was on Sunday. We walked down and noticed it wasn’t until 7 am. So I went to the desk to turn my keys in. One of the employees said she already had everything ready and said she would turn on the lights. Wow talk about service. We were grateful as we would have stopped for gas station food when fueling up. Upon arrival through departure everyone was very nice. Would I recommend a stay here… absolutely.

A great stay. Excellent value. The cleanliness and overall appearance were off the chart. Everything looked brand new. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold foods. The coffee was even good. We will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Convenient Perfect Stay
Right off of I10, easy check in, very clean, everything worked as it should. Breakfast was typical, first experience with chocolate waffles and strawberry sauce! This hotel was right alongside of a truck stop and our room was facing it, right by the truck parking area, however we did not hear any truck noise! Through Hotels.com, we had a great rate and upon reviewing other hotels in the surrounding areas, this was the absolute best choice!

Hurricane Evacuee
I would think the Sleep Inn & Suites @ 1-10/Defuniak Springs is mostly a place to rest your head while a long travel day. My 85 year old mom and I evacuated Tampa for Hurricane Milton. The hotel was clean. The beds were comfy. They accept pets. Nice area to walk dogs. They provide a hot breakfast which was good. The whole staff, from the front desk (Mary & Cheyenne), the housekeepers, the lady that made breakfast, were very kind and friendly being that the hotel was filled with anxious people that left the Tampa Bay area. Please keep in mind it's not a resort nor do they claim to be. It served as a place of refuge. I will definitely remember for the next hurricane but hopefully that's not for quite sometime. Thank you all at the Sleep Inn!!
