i booked a room for 3 persons. The receipt also mentioned 3 persons. but they charged me extra. They said it was a room for 2 persons and they had to put an extra bed which costed € 55,-. The question is is this the fault of Expedia or the hotel? They both said that i had to pay the extra.

De parkeerplaats was overvol: we hebben dus 2 dagen op betaald parkeren gestaan en 2 op parkeerplaats Kogerstaete.Nou is parkeren op Texel niet duur, maar dit was echt het enige minpuntje wat we over deze accommodatie bedenken kunnen.Verder was alles fantastisch, de kamer perfect en van alle gemakken voorzien, het personeel ongelooflijk aardig en hulpvaardig en het ontbijt buitengewoon lekker. Idem geldt trouwens voor het eten in het restaurant!

Wir wurden mit unseren Hunden freundlich aufgenommen und haben die zu kurze Zeit voll genossen. Das Frühstück war sensationell, auf dem Zimmer mehrere Kaffee Kapseln zum wach werden inbegriffen. Zwei Minuten zum Zentrum.

sauberes Hotel in Dorf- und Strandnähe.
Als "alter Texel-Kenner" besuchte ich die Insel mit einem guten Gefühl, Strand, Geschäfte, Lokale, so wie sie sein sollten. Natur "pur", Gastfreundlichkeit, einfach ein Urlaub zum empfehlen

Goed verzorgd hotel, vlakbij strand en centrum
Heel net, hygiënisch en goed verzorgd hotel. Ruime keuze met het ontbijtbuffet en vers gebakken brood. De hotel eigenaars zijn zeer gastvrij. Hotel ligt op loopafstand van het centrum met winkels en vele eetgelegenheden en het strand. Een aanrader!

Meine Frau und ich haben 2014 unseren einwöchigen Osterurlaub in diesem tollen und zentral gelegenen Hotel in De Koog verbracht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Da Hotelzimmer in den Niederlanden häufig sehr klein ausfallen, hatten wir eine Suite gebucht und wurden angenehm überrascht. Ausreichend Platz um sich rundherum wohl zu fühlen, bequeme Betten, Küchennische (Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine), Essecke, grosszügiges Bad und Balkon. Schnelles WLAN! Kostenloser Parkplatz. Die Inhaber sind total freundlich Leute! In der Einkaufszone gibt es jede Menge Restaurants für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Sehr empfehlenswert das Vogelhuis-Orangerie, direkt am Beginn der Zone. Hier sollte man aber reservieren, da es sehr gut besucht ist. Ansonsten kann ich nur sagen, Texel ist eine Reise wert!
