Quiet 1 Bedroom Condo in a Popular Mountain Resort

Welcome to your vacation condo getaway at Copperstone Resort! This well-managed top-rated resort with helpful friendly staff and full of amenities is located in the small village of Dead Man's Flats, which is only minutes away from Canmore and all the unique shopping and restaurants it offers, yet far enough away for you to enjoy its quiet relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking scenery all around to make your vacation here enjoyable and memorable any season or time of the year!

This one bedroom condo is spacious and complete with all the comforts of home, and is professionally cleaned between stays. It offers a fully stocked modern kitchen with island, separate dining area and living area with cozy fireplace and queen-sized sofa bed. The unit has its own dedicated furnace and HVAC system, so the air you breathe is not shared with other units. High-speed fiber optic Internet, satellite cable TVs and in-suite laundry are also included. The unit backs onto a beautiful courtyard which is quiet and peaceful compared to many units in Canmore that face the highway or train noise. You also have your own private patio which is just steps away from shared BBQs, a fire pit seating area, additional patio tables and an outdoor hot tub that seats a maximum of 10 people (hot tub is closed when the temperature dips below minus 20 celcius). Heated secure underground parking is provided along with access to the fitness and games room. Our underground parkade also has a ski tuning station and bike racks. We even provide a COMPLIMENTARY DISCOVERY PASS that you and your family can borrow while visiting Banff or Yoho National Parks! If you plan to visit Kananaskis Country, you will need to purchase a Kananaskis Conservation Pass ($15/day) online or in person at the Kananaskis Visitor Information Centres (Barrier, Elbow and Peter Lougheed) or at the Canmore Nordic Centre Day Lodge. The Kananaskis pass is assigned to your vehicle's licence plate.

Guests can access our unit from the front doors of Building #2 along 2nd avenue, then follow the hallway to the end, exit into the courtyard and enter Building #4 on the left with the entry code provided. Building #4 can also be directly accessed via the underground parkade with the same entry code.

One vehicle per reservation is allowed to park in the underground parkade. Additional parking is available in the back of the Bighorn Inn & Suites nearby the resort if you have a second vehicle or your vehicle is higher than the 7 foot clearance required for the underground parkade. Second or third vehicles will be required to pay $15/day for parking underground or outside. Parking is also allowed for a maximum of 15 minutes along 2nd Avenue in front of the main resort building.

Amazing condo and excellent stay
Property / condo was very nice. Parking a breeze. The host had excellent communication and promptness to emails. Use of the park pass very nice. The location was perfect and the resort complex very nice. The condo had everything needed for my family and we really enjoyed multiple hikes in the national parks. Even saw pikas, marmots and elk as well as different birds. The stay in Dead Man's flats with groceries near by in Canmore was incredible. We wish we could have stayed a few more days!

Short Vacation trip.
We had a great experience during our short stay in Eric's place. The place is very clean, organized, secured and quiet - all the essential things were also provided. 👍 The host is very kind and very detailed on giving us all the instructions (check-in, parking, check-out) and they even have recommendations on places to see in Banff. It's just few minutes from Canmore that's why it's very accessible. We highly recommend this place if your looking for a ralaxing/quiet place to stay away from the busy city.

Beautiful location away from the crowds
If you are like me and you prefer to be away from the crowds so you can enjoy the nature this is the place. The condo was very clean and comfortable, well maintained and the pass to Banff was a welcome plus. We were there for a wedding and spent a fraction of the price and had better accommodations than everyone else. Will stay again next time we come to Canmore.

Wonderful Get Away Resort
Truly a great place to rest and relax in the surrounding beauty of the Rockies. Eric and Nancy's place was and is a nice quiet place to stay for any person or couple looking for somewhere to escape the rush of life. Their place has been well looked after and the resort complex offers easy access to indoor and outdoor activities to make your stay enjoyable. Hope to stay there again in the future.

The resort was exactly as expected. It was easy to access, clean, and had all the needed amenities. It was also close to Nakiska (where we skied) and Canmore/Banff for dining. The only thing I would caution others about is that the only place to purchase food/restaurant is the gas station so make sure you stop in Canmore or make other arrangements.

Luxury condo suite, new and spacious with all the amenities. Full kitchen, eat-at counter seating, dining table, living room, fireplace, and landscaped courtyard view. Also, private door to patio and view of surrounding mountains. Neighborhood walking trails and creek. Super comfortable mattresses! Only 6 minute drive to Canmore.

A quieter alternative to Banff
The condo is as described and was overall a great place to stay. Locking the door to the patio is still difficult (other reviewers mentioned this), but once you figure it out, it's fine (push on the door really hard and then lock it). There is nothing nearby, so you have to drive to the next town, but it was an easy drive. It was very much appreciated that there were ice packs in the freezer and a small hard-sided cooler in the closet. We travel with a soft-sided cooler, so the ice packs come in handy. The fire pit wasn't working when we arrived, and the young woman at the front desk had several explanations (it is only turned on in the winter; it was just installed last week, and I don't think it is set up yet). Later, while sitting there, it just came on. The condo has the basic amenities for cooking. The hot tub is very hot! It was great, but just know it is not for long-term soaking. It was a pricy stay, but we did cook all but one meal, so that helped. The washer and dryer were great, as we did have some rain while we were there. There was loud construction going on that could be heard, but it wasn't bad from this unit. We would stay here again and did enjoy our stay.

Great condo for our visit to Banff NP. We loved the peace and quiet in Dead Man’s Flats away from the busier towns of Canmore and Banff. Great home away from home close to everything!
We stayed for 3 nights on our way through the Rockies (3 adults) and were very happy to have found this gem.
