Owner checked us in and welcomed us to the area, marking down places on a map of the area that are ideal for visiting. Attached restaurant is cozy and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Wonderful experience all around, will stay again when visiting the area.

This motel's exterior was very dirty. If management would vacuum the walkways and stairs it would present a much better image. Leaking faucet in room, poor lighting and just a run down look. A renovation with simple upgrades, like removing carpet in rooms, better lighting, new curtains on windows would add to the appeal of this place.

This is a comfortable older hotel that has had some updates. Beds were comfy, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The restaurant has good food and friendly staff.

Riding the Mickelson Trail
I was in Deadwood to ride the Mickelson Trail and this hotel was perfect place to spend the night and shower.

We arrived for a 2 night stay. When i entered the room one of the beds bedspread was all wrinkled up, like oneone had laid on it after ot was made. There was a long black hair on a pillow and there was a used styrofoam cup on the floor next to a bed. Also, the shower was disgusting. Desperately in need of a Majic Eraser.
