Where most hotels that offer breakfast provide paper plates and plastic utensils, Homewood provides real dishes and real silverware. Though I didn't take advantage of it, I did like seeing the outdoor social areas where guests could sit around a fire pit or enjoy grilling a meal.

Decatur doesn't offer a ton of quality hotels and this one is always the best option and consistent. The staff is always great, they offer a good breakfast and it is convenient. Had a couple of issues in my room and the staff were on it as soon as they knew. When you are looking for a hotel in Decatur this is the first one sold out.

Excellent facility and excellent food and staff. Suite not totally stocked with condiments in the kitchen like salt *lots if pepper or shampoo in bath. Itherwise, a lovely stay
