An older property that has been refurbished over the years. Extremely clean with great amenities. A wonderful place to wind down after a long drive.

The Driftwood Inn surprised me a bit. I was expecting it to be least favorable of all the hotels for my trip around Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. I actually wound up sleeping the best there, and I was able to find grocery and gas options nearby. Parking behind the hotel was always available, even though I didn't see it at first. The one thing that could be improved would be the odor in the lobby that seemed reminiscent of a bowling alley. Otherwise, the Driftwood Inn worked out for what I needed to do.

The only thing was no ramp to get to the main entrance and no elevator. Difficult if you have hip and shoulder problems

I would best describe the Driftwood as a quaint hotel that is a bit tired. The room was also somewhat small. Nothing really bad but not especially modern. It was handy to have a restaurant attached.

Building is old, could be really nice. needs an update. The room we stayed in, bed need changed out ASAP. Has a pub and a Jungle Jim’s restaurant attached. Food was good.
