Magical!
From the moment I clicked on this property I could not have been more pleased. Every detail was well thought out and process was seamless. The pictures of her home did not do it justice. The house and property were magnificent! So immaculately and comfortably designed, and the grounds were nothing short of picturesque. My family and I stayed for 5 nights and will definitely be returning.

A beautiful, tranquil space for exploring the Catskills.
We loved the Red River Farm as a beautiful spot for our family of six to gather. There were beautiful indoor spaces, but we spent much of our at the house time enjoying the ample porch overlooking the pond and hills beyond and eating outdoors. The kitchen has everything to cook meals for a group, taking advantage of the many farmer's markets in tbe area. Well-maintained walking trails, a wild garden, a brook and ample lawn for frisbee and prokadima were wonderful highlights. The owner arranged a bonfire which was a lovely way to end our visit. Lakes and reservoirs for kayaking, swimming and fishing were 30 - 40 mins away with incredible views en route. We also enjoyed the Delhi Farmer's market and exploring vintage stores and the excellent book store in the cure hamlet of Andes (each about 20 mins away). The lack of cell service at the house and between towns took some getting used to, but wasnt a problem. The wifi worked well at the house. We have rented a number of places with VRBO and this was one the besr experiences ever! The owners were great hosts. Even though they were away most of the week they were always available for questions. We feel comfortable highly recommending this place!

An extraordinary retreat
I was looking for a place to seclude myself and work on writing music. I could have not found a better place than this home. A large, fully-equipped and sun-filled cozy house with wood burning fireplaces on all the right rooms that sits on 160 acres of peaceful nature. The best part, was our host. We stayed for a month and a good host was needed for that. We couldn’t ask for someone better to take care of anything we needed including wood for our fire which were delivered daily to our house. We ended up staying for another month. If you’re looking for a place with unlimited peace that will inspire you and make you feel at home, THIS IS THE HOME. Thank you for hosting us Isabelle!

Country charm with stunning views
This place hits all the right points, a pond fed with fresh spring water, a bubbling brook, a vegetable/flower garden, and peaceful quiet; all with a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains! Pictures can’t capture the immense charm and beautiful location of this house. The house is beautifully decorated and comes with everything you need including that special touch of country charm. The space was perfect for our family of two couples and two young girls (10 and 5). Each couple had their own bedroom and the girls shared the third. There were comfortable mattresses, lovely linens, and everyone loved the special soap. The house was large enough for the little ladies to run around, play, or watch TV in the separate “TV room”. All while the adults could sit in the living room surrounded by an eclectic collection of books. But with such a gorgeous location you’ll spend most of your time outside. The wrap around porch is where you want to spend all your time! One person was on the side porch reading, another on the other side sitting on the bench facing the garden and the girls playing on the backside facing the beautiful pond, all with a beautiful view of the land. The little ladies loved the daily visits from the deer named “Luna” who snacks on the blackberries surrounding the pond and the apples from the trees around the garden. We must also mention the hummingbirds and butterflies flittering around the deck. The pond was a great place to cool off when coming back from hikes or walks that can be accessed right from the property (I recommend bringing floats for added fun), especially since we were there during some unusually hot weather. The pond is just steps away from the house and you can hear the bull frogs singing at night. We never felt the need to leave the property for any other activities except for grocery shopping. For those of us who love to cook the kitchen was stocked with top quality cooking equipment. We had everything we needed to take advantage of the outstanding foods that we picked up from the farmer’s market. Being from the city we quickly realized that running to the store on the corner when you needed something was not an option, though the 20 minute drive to the closest supermarket was a beautiful trip with horses, cows and more stunning views. Overall, we all had a fantastic time and are looking forward to coming back. We give this place our highest recommendation.

Blissful location
This gorgeous property is very special. Between the sprawling inside spaces, the beautiful views out every window, the chef's kitchen, the big fireplace, and super comfortable beds and couches, we had a wonderful stay. It was like staying in a large European villa but in the Catskills. The owners could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The entire property has a serenity about it that is very special. It is quite remote so you must plan well and bring plenty of food with you but the location is also what makes it so special. We went skiiing at Belleayre (about 40 mins away) went sledding on the property multiple times but mostly enjoyed the splendor of the house and the property. We will return...soon!

Simply amazing
The pictures and description do not so this property justice. It is picturesque - great property that offers hiking and exploring with kids. Lots of areas to hang out and relax. For foodies - the kitchen is fantastic and fully stocked. Host was very accommodating and welcoming and with so much land was nice having someone nearby. Kids had a great time and enjoyed playing with guinea hens that acted more like kittens . Highly recommend to anyone looking to unplug and relax

Great Stay
We had a lovely stay - the house/property is beautiful and Isabelle was easy to communicate with, addressing any problems right away. There are apple trees on the property and we picked apples and made applesauce. Our 2 year old also loved picking the cherry tomatoes from the vegetable garden. There's also these fields of yellow flowers which was really pretty. We loved sitting on the porch and reading and looking at the beautiful scenery. Also, if you're an animal lover, there's a pair of friendly guinea hens that follow you wherever you go!

Awesome Catskills getaway
Our family had a lovely week away from the city in August staying at the farmhouse. We were glad to find that the house was in very nice condition, beautifully decorated, and tucked away in beautiful surrounding overlooking pond with plentiful walking trails. There were a few idyllic locations to practice yoga and lesson from owner was a special treat! We also really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and taking a bread lesson. Nearby towns had quaint restaurants, farmer’s markets and kayaking available. We look forward to returning!

Perfect Fourth of July getaway!
Red River Farmhouse is stunning! The entire house and backyard space are beautifully decorated and very clean. The pond is awesome for swimming on a hot day. We had a great 4th of July weekend cooking, lounging and enjoying everything the area had to offer, we loved Wayside Cider in Andes. The house is well stocked and the kitchen is a dream to cook in. We even took a yoga class taught by Isabelle that we all agreed was one of the best yoga classes we've ever taken. A few in our group also took Isabelle's biodynamic breathwork workshop and loved it! We also rented the additional cabin, which was great for a 4th couple. It was a bit hot without AC, but the house cooled down at night and in the morning. The only thing we were unaware of was that the hosts would be close by on the property that weekend, which was not at all a problem for us as they were lovely and so helpful! We loved our time here and hope to return!

Beautiful nature, charming home - the perfect getaway!
Isabelle’s house is beautiful down to every detail. The surrounding land is serene and peaceful. We absolutely love the backyard pond to take a dip in on a hot summer afternoon. This was everything I could have wanted for an escape from chaotic city life - definitely recommend staying if you’re looking for the same!

Amazing New Years Getaway
Red River Farm is a beautiful house that is tucked away in a very pretty area of the Catskills. My girlfriend and I wanted to get away from New York City for a fun New Years adventure, and found Red River Farm as a great solution. Isabelle was beyond helpful and accommodating in helping us settle in when we arrived, even though she herself was away in France. The house is very well kept and equipped, and has a great rustic European touch to it that makes it feel very welcoming and relaxing. Both the kitchen and the living rooms are incredible, and feel like a home away from home. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to come back sometime in the summer. Highly recommended!

Fabulous Red River Farm experience.
Red River Farm is a beautiful haven tucked away in the Catskill mountains. The setting is pastoral, creating a relaxing environment that encouraged lounging, reading, eating, drinking and enjoying the company of good friends. The house was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we wanted - including many that were admired but left untouched, like the grill and hammock. Don't miss swimming in the pond. The water felt clean and the length is perfect for a few brisk laps. The location was convenient to restaurants and antiques - but mostly it was convenient to the venue for the wedding we came to attend. The owner and her mother were charming and helpful. We visited several restaurants at Isabelle's recommendation - Two Old Tarts and Brushland. We will definitely return to Red River Farm.

New Year's week in the Catskills
We returned to Red River Farm having loved it so much when we stayed during the summer and it was just as wonderful in the winter. We were joined by family and everyone felt so comfortable, relaxed and at home. It was warm and peaceful and much time was spent in front of the log fire drawing, playing board games and reading. We did some walking on the property and enjoyed its quiet seclusion and tranquility. Thank you again, Isabelle, for sharing your beautiful home.
