Overall room was clean and comfortable and the gym was acceptable. Service was generally good. Main suggestions for improvement 1. The room was not properly prepared: there was a clearly opened and used soft drink can in the fridge and the gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower were already opened (seals broken). This is a hygiene issue for me. 2. When trying to enquire about facilities, the first person could not understand me (my English is very neutral so this was a surprise) but the next person could. I tried to book a tour of Old Delhi and the person tried to suggest a driver without a guide and then the phone got disconnected waiting for her to enquire about this further and she did not get back to me. In the end I booked an excellent tour on the internet 3. On arrival, I knew I was a bit early and in case my room was not ready I just wanted to drop off my luggage so I could head off to attend a meeting. At this point in similar hotels the receptionist would usually arrange the luggage for me or ask someone to take me to the correct place. Instead I had to go somewhere else where there was some confusion until it was understood I could not yet check-in and someone took my bags off me. 4. I ate at the Baluchi restaurant and despite having no starter the main meal of lamb Biryani was far too large a portion and I can eat a lot. The waiter said this is well-known but I feel we should be more responsible about waste.

It is a very well located hotel with excellent staff. The room was large and clean. The breakfast was of good standard. A few points could be attended to: . The room did not have an iron, which we had to ask for (but it was delivered promptly) . We were not given a non-smoking room that we had requested in advance . The gym was small for a hotel of this size, and dominated by a personal trainer. . the swimming pool was without an attendant for quite some time.

The guy managing the pool was lost in himself. We asked for water which came after almost an hour! Then there was a dinner bill which was put in our name when we didn’t even have dinner there. The folks at the reception were good but there was something off with the vibe that you need in places like this. Looks like the staff managing a few thing like restaurant/pool etc… isn’t well trained and they are also not well managed.

Absolutely beautiful hotel inside. Our room was very nice as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. The property felt very safe and every car was checked entering; bags also scanned. The location was convenient for the plans I had and was a relatively close walk to food options. The restaurant on site looked good, but was quite costly.
