We booked a stay on the evening before arrival, showing availability on Expedia. The reservation was made, and I received a confirmation through Expedia, however, the property manager never contacted me. I was supposed to receive communication through Vrbo. That communication did not happen. I called and left a voicemail with the property manager. This person did not respond. I then texted the property manager several hours later and that is when this person told me they had already sent and a cancellation due to severe weather in their area. That is understandable however the communication did not work between the two platforms. Also, I would’ve expected the property manager to have responded to my voicemail several hours before responding to the text I initiated.
