The cabin itself was nice and clean. It took a bit to find the place, though. It's far enough down the dirt road to make you question where you're going.

Beautiful property. Communication and welcome outstanding. The cabin we nicely fitted with all the essentials. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom/shower very nice. Location is great with easy access to Talkeetna, Hatcher Pass and Denali. We loved our stay and wish it was longer.

We Loved this stay and we will stay again next chance we get. The cabins are very well taken care of. The lodge is clean and accessible if you want to sit by the fire or use anything in the kitchen. The fire pit outside is comfy. The owners Anna and Todd are amazing people. There is just not enough words to say how much we enjoyed our stay.

Clean and cozy cabin. Kitchenette was well stocked, but some salt and peppper would have made it complete. Nice screened porch to enjoy the scenery without the bugs.

This is an idyllic cabin property for an Alaska experience. Our room was ready before arrival. We were greeted with the cutest cabin with our name on it. The bed is firm and cozy. The cute little makeup towel made me so happy since I accidentally got red lipstick on my hotel towel at another property. This makeup towel was dark and said makeup on it with a smiley face. So cute. The amenities are nice. The bath rug was a real rug. The blankets were so warm and weighted. I love this property and think it's been done exquisitely well. I am an avid traveler and would HIGHLY recommend this property at any time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Talkeetna Wilderness Lodge. We'd been traveling in Alaska for about ten days and wanted a quiet break before moving on. Our cabin was a perfect solution. We rested, walked the trails, watched the nearby river, and enjoyed the screened porch. After a cloudy day, we peaked outside that evening to find the aurora borealis making a show overhead. We grabbed chairs and watched from the nearly pitch-dark cabin area for nearly an hour before clouds moved in. What a great experience! The hosts were friendly and helped us to feel at welcome in their forest home.

A very comfortable and clean cabin, very nature-like, and I really like the forest roads that I drive into. The facilities are very complete, and the design is very thoughtful. Unfortunately, the cabin is a bit small, and we have to coordinate the storage of 1 large and 2 small luggage!

The stand-alone cabins- thoughtfully outfitted-set in a tranquil environment made for a restful stay. The owner's hospitality was outstanding. One could wander the property's wooded trails to the nearby stream or join other guests at the nightly campfire. This is a perfect location for those wanting to stay at a bucolic property with access to nearby amenities.

Lovely cabin in the wilderness
This is a lovely property about 15 mins from town. We were in cabin 4 and Angie was amazing with communication and responsiveness. It was a long day of driving from Anchorage before we got there around 9pm and she was so helpful with suggesting dinner recommendations that fit my elder parents medical diet requirements. Thank you Angie for your help, care and communication. Cabin 4 is like being home. So tastefully decorated, quiet and warm.
