This is a beautiful old mansion, and very nicely decorated and furnished. Our room was fine but was a little run down in some areas (primarily in the entry area to the bathroom). We were disappointed that the wine social hour was cancelled with no explanation or advance notice. Overall, we thought the experience was a bit overpriced.

My husband and I stayed just one night in the Paintbrush room. This room is directly off the main entry. It is a beautiful, comfortable room and very quiet! We had a delicious freshly prepared breakfast the next morning and a fun conversation with the other guests. We will definitely be staying here again!

Cowboy Carl was awesome. Enjoyed the hospitality and conversation. Knowledgeable advice where to eat and grab drinks. Room was relaxing and plenty of room for 2. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Look forward to staying next time we’re in Denver.

While this is obviously a historic property, it has not been upkept. It is on the perimeter of the historic mansions. Unfortunately this area has been populated by homelessness. The advertised ""Gourmet breakfast" consisted of fried eggs, bacon, a store bought biscuit with gravy. The coffee was a watered down version of the owners brew. The staff was short and not very accommodating. This was a "grossly misrepresented property"". A Holiday Inn would have been a better choice.

We had a great stay in the Bluebell suite that gave us our own private entrance. We had great service from the staff and breakfast was so good! I can see us booking there again someday.

This historic inn in the center of Denver is the ideal place for a couples relaxing vacation. In a central city residential neighborhood it is close to everything Denver has to offer. The Capitol Hill Mansion B & B is an absolute gem! If I could I’d rate it a 5 . The location is very convenient allowing for walking to a lot of Denver attractions. The rooms are beautiful and so comfortable. The property has a historic designation and when you enter through the front gates you feel like you are stepping back in time where you might have had a tea in the front salon with the unsinkable Molly Brown! The breakfast served in the secret garden was fresh made, hot and delicious. Carl and his staff are absolutely amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!!
