Traveling as a woman on my own, I didn’t feel comfortable as I pulled up to the hotel as many people were hanging out around the parking lot and staring at me. When I went to check in, I was told that I did not have a reservation at that hotel. I said that I did and showed the man at the front desk my hotels.com booking confirmation and he said he couldn’t use that information. I tried to find the reservation number for the hotel in an e-mail that hotels.com sent me but I didn’t have good service in the building and I asked if I could use the hotel’s wifi but the man at the front desk told me wifi was only in the rooms. He asked me if I was at the correct hotel and slowly said the name of the hotel to me and I said yes I was at the right hotel on the correct date. He eventually looked down at his desk and found that I had already been checked in my another member of the staff. As I was signing paperwork for check in, I noticed they didn’t have my correct last name on the paperwork. I let the front desk agent know and he said I must have made a mistake when entering in my name on the booking and I said I had not (which was also later confirmed by hotels.com that I had not). He told me I needed to contact Expedia or whoever I had made the booking through to correct it. As I went up to my room I could hear dogs barking and felt uneasy in the elevator and hallway. The room did not look like the pictures on this site, the room was very dated and there was liquid on the floor.
