We exhibit at the convention center and have booked 10 rooms each year. For the last 2 years, we have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn downtown. Although it wasn't fancy, it is a very clean, quiet hotel that is close to the convention center and restaurants, has a gated parking ramp and most of all, an incredible staff that is dedicated to customer service. They are just finishing major renovations throughout the hotel, so we can't wait to go back next year.

They couldn’t do my check in because they said I should pay a tax of 50 dollars, but they couldn’t accept cash, that was the only way I had to pay. So they asked me to leave at 1AM

We booked this room months ago. My family of four was traveling from out of town and was looking for a comfortable room to stay in after a long day. When I arrived to check in, there was a sign at the counter stating the staff would return in 5-10 minutes. The staff were hanging out in an adjacent room in view of me and were laughing and appearing unprofessional. I attempted to get their attention and received eye rolling. Finally when they returned I learned they gave our reserved room of two beds away and offered a room with one bed. We have four in our party as identified in the reservation. No apologies or concern, they even acted as though I was being unreasonable. We needed a room so we took it. Most of the lights did not work. It was not very clean. The couch has a small pull out bed, which was broken. Only one elevator was working. Terrible experience overall. Also there were about 1,000 high school kids staying there as well making all kinds of noise all night and morning. I was very disappointed.

Perfect Location
Great place to stay very central to the convention center and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is nice too in the event you don't want to leave and walk in cold weather. I did have issues trying to get WiFi (I couldn't so had to use my phone as a hotspot). The people in the front were great (I think Sasha is her name and she was outstanding).
