It is not easy to leave the property and go north on Alkire. Going north requires a potentially dangerous U-turn.

This appears to be a very new La Quinta location. It's very modern and spacious. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I booked this location because I had to attend a party near Red Rocks in Morrison, CO. The title that appears in Expedia shows Littleton/Red Rocks. It really is quite some distance from Red Rocks and that was misleading. I'll do a bit more research on my next stay.
