Holiday Surf and Racquet Club is located directly on the beach in exclusive Holiday Isle, which is a peninsula surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor. Amenities featured are the seasonally heated pool, 2 lighted tennis courts, BBQ grilling area, shuffleboard, exercise rooms and saunas. There is free wifi in the lobby and pool areas. There are also coin operated Laundry facilities. Once you stay in Holiday Isle, you'll want to come back year after year!

Temporary structures, including, but not limited to, towed house trailers, houseboats, tents, or temporary structures of any kind are prohibited on Holiday Isle, except to the extent set forth herein. Umbrellas are permitted on the beaches in a manner consistent with these Covenants provided that their use is in compliance with state and local laws and regulations. Set up of umbrellas can occur only after beach cleaning has been completed. Umbrellas shall not exceed 8 feet in diameter.

Area Attractions: 

If you haven't been to Holiday Isle, you're in for a treat. It's a serene, little oasis in the middle of Destin, with 2 and a half miles of paved trails for walking and biking, surrounded by quiet neighborhoods perfect for exploring on a bike. It's just minutes away from restaurants, shopping, boat docks, fishing, golf, and amusements.

An easy walk along the beach will take you to the jetties, where the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor meet, a spot well-known for great snorkeling and fishing. Here you can also watch boats going out deep sea fishing and returning from gulf to harbor.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

It was perfect being right on the beach and being able to play pickleball whenever we want. The condo however was ok! The toilet was clogged when we first arrived and sand was still all over the floor from the prior guests. Would have appreciated it being more clean.

I stayed with my 16-year-old granddaughter and we had a great time! The sand was like sugar and it wasn't hot to walk on! The area was beautiful. We enjoyed several fun local restaurants and got rolled ice cream. I will go back!

Great Condo besides all the Nest Devices
Property was as described. Great room packed full of Nest smart home devices. One device was evidently some sort of alarm. Upon check-in, when I unplugged what looked like an Alexa to utilize the receptacle for something else, an obnoxiously loud alarm went off on this unknown device. It took a call to RealJoy, and the property manager a full hr to remove the device as it still was sounding off VERY loudly. The property manager was very helpful, and unsuccessfully tried to contact the property owner for the code to shut off this device. So she simply took it with her as she was also getting as frusterated as I was. Know that this condo has devices that can audio record you. Only reason we noticed was due to the initial alarm going off. There after notced ALL the nest devices. Made us feel like the property owner can low key spy on you if they want. Needless to say, not the best start to our vacation. However the room itself is very nice, short of all the pretentious Nest devices with monitoring technology.

Wonderful week in Paradise
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Holiday Surf and Racquet Club! The condo is nicely updated and has super comfortable furniture! The king bed was extremely comfortable and I’m very picky about those things! 😅 The hosts even had beach chairs/toys/umbrellas available for use. The kitchen was very well equipped and appliances all in good working condition. Only drawback was the coffee maker is only a Keurig, not a drip coffee maker and we had brought coffee and filters, but that was easily remedied! Other than that everything was perfect for our stay! We will definitely be back!

It was as good as we hoped. Clean, great view, very comfortable. Could have used a coffee pot, it’s a bit far to simply walk to the nearest coffee shop. We didn’t rent a car so any food or necessities we used Uber which was fine except for a morning coffee.

Great Location
Out stay here was great. The location on the beach is fantastic, we played some pickleball and shuffleboard, and the beach service was good. It's only a 10-15 minute drive to the boardwalk and restaurants which is great and a 5 minute drive to the grocery store as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely amazing location and beach
We had a fantastic time staying here. The linens on one of the pull out sofa beds was dirty but the owner got us clean ones. The view is amazing and the location is great too. You simply cannot beat being on the beach. Check in and check out was a breeze. Just as a heads up for anyone else, the walk to the harbor water taxi is a bit far. The beach service at the building was great. We paid for all of our days when we got there and tagged an umbrella and chairs at 7am when they setup. At the end of our stay we could definitely see ourselves coming back every year.
