There was a mix up when we arrived and the hotel had given our room to someone else. They were very professional and quickly made it right. We were given free valet parking, a later check out time, and when I went to pay in the morning, discovered there was no charge for our room! I did not ask for any of these things and was beyond surprised and pleased.

Hotel is nice enough with spacious rooms but it is very dated. The walls are paper thin! Can hear people in next room using the shower or flushing the toilet. There was a group of guys partying and blasting music until 4am.

Wonderful hotel. Kudos in particular to a wonderful and gracious front desk staff and to transportation staff. I cannot overstate the convenience of having a shuttle bus on site, which helped us to access many local attractions, enabling us to maximize our time visiting downtown Detroit.

I prefer total darkness for sleeping and did not care for the glass block walls in the rooms, let’s in too much light from the hallway or interior bathroom into the sleeping area.
