You can access the building through the main entrances. we ask that you be respectful of the home and community. The home is not baby-proofed and hence may not be ideal for families with small children, however, children are welcome at your own discretion.

The fastest way to reach us is through the message feature on the VRBO app, phone calls or emails will be delayed.

The neighborhood is part of the New Center area in Detroit. This neighborhood is known for The Fisher building, a historic Art Deco building designed by Albert Kahn, offering a blend of classic architecture and contemporary living. The building provides various amenities, including air conditioning, balconies, modern appliances, and high-speed internet, along with community facilities like a fitness center, laundry facility, and high-speed internet access. The area is rated highly for walkability, transit access, and bikeability, offering easy access to groceries, restaurants, and parks. Public schools serving this location include Thirkell Elementary School, Detroit International Academy For Young Women, Douglass Academy For Young Men, Northwestern High School, and Detroit School of Arts .

To get around the area surrounding, you have several transportation options available:

Walking: If you're in the vicinity, walking to the location is an option. Determine the best walking route using a map or navigation app, and be mindful of pedestrian safety.

Free parking is provided on the street on a first come basis. However for security, we highly recommend garage parking for $13 per day which provides direct entry into the unit.

Check out time is 11 am (unless otherwise approved).

Our Core Value is to be a good neighbor and comply with all local regulations. Therefore, all guests MUST agree to the house rules before/during their stay as there are other tenants at the property.

- Check-in details will be sent on the day of check-in.

- All guests are screened using our third-party partner, Autohost. In order to abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal, pay a security deposit and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check.

MAIL & PACKAGE DELIVERY

We discourage direct delivery to the building/apartment. It is recommended to make use of a nearby pickup/drop-off location to guarantee receipt of your mail/package.

- Absolutely no smoking, there's a $100 penalty fee for removing smoke detectors.
- No weapons, firearms, drugs or illegal sexual activity of any sort allowed.
- Violators will be reported to police and the contract will be terminated immediately.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for parties and smoking anywhere on our premises. All our units come equipped with noise sensors. While we do not anticipate the need, following multiple warnings, we will utilize local law enforcement to ensure compliance. Should removal be required, it will be done at the guest's expense.

Unapproved late checkout will result in a $50 charge for every hour after the scheduled checkout time.

There's a $100 penalty fee for removing smoke detectors.

Smoking - Smoking inside or outside on the patio/balcony, parking lot, or within 50ft of the property is STRICTLY prohibited, as this is a smoke-free community. Any smell noticed by cleaners in the house, and/or any physical evidence of smoking any substance in the home will result in a fine of $300.00 to cover the cost of deep cleaning and ozone treatment.

Parties and Events - Parties and events are STRICTLY prohibited. Any evidence of a party or event, including camera footage, excessive garbage, or other evidence will result in a fine of $500.00, legal action, and possible eviction without reimbursement, plus the cost of any extra cleaning or damages that result from the event. Noise detection monitors are present.

**Local Guests MUST let us know at the time of booking if additional visitors will arrive during the stay or reservation will be canceled. No exceptions, no refunds**

Missing or damaged items - Any evidence of willful or negligent loss or damage to the property, furnishings, decoration, landscaping, towels, linens FOB Keys, or other items will be charged at direct replacement cost plus a fine of up to $250.00.

Unauthorized Animal/Pet Fee: $250.00

Towels and linens - Guests are required to keep towels and linens in good condition. Towels and washcloths should not be used to remove makeup or for cleaning purposes. Any permanent stains on towels or linens will fall into the category of negligent damage and are not included in the damage protection policy. Guests should NOT wash comforters or duvet comforters themselves as this can cause damage to those items and the washing machine.

House Rules - Any evidence of a guest breaking posted house rules, including exceeding the occupancy listed by the guest on the reservation, parking restrictions, pool rules, illegal substances, or use of the property can result in a fine of up to $1000.00 and/or eviction from the property.
