I booked my stay over 4 months ago. It was for a wedding. I booked a double queen for two nights. There were 2 adults and 2 children. The adults were not a couple. When we arrived, we were shown to a King bed room. I just thought it was a mistake, after all I booked it so long ago. I went downstairs and the person on duty said that the room I was in was the room I was assigned. Evidently between the time I booked my room and my stay, a girls hockey tournament was planned. I was told that the hotel was overbooked and I had to no choice but to accept it. I was informed I could speak to a manger the next day. So the next day I cleared some time to go an speak to a manager and was told it was because I used a 3rd party to book by stay. WHAT???? I received no heads up prior and no notification that I was not going to receive what I booked, and there was nothing on any of the documentation I had prior that my choices could not be honored. Your GM's solution, credit $25.00 to my room. WHAT???? for having to share a bed with another adult and a toddler?
On top of all this, there was only one (1) luggage cart for the whole hotel and the pool was so cold that even the kids would not get into it. I was given a room on the third floor and then the elevator broke. The hotel did not even communicate any information regarding the one and only elevator nor that one of the two staircases was blocked and could not be used. (fire hazard? ya think).
I don't know if all your rooms are bat
