Loved the oatmeal and hot cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Clean, quiet room. Makeup remover wipes would’ve been a nice touch (we had them at a similar site in Brighton Mi the prior day).

It would’ve been a 5 star experience however I was told upon arrival that my reservation wasn’t in their system and apparently was an issue for other guests as well. I ended up having to double pay for my room and leave a brief deposit. I overdraft my account because of Expedia’s error.

Have stayed here before. Convenient location to needs in the Detroit area. Easy parking. Staff always friendly and helpful. Safe and quiet. (clean room though the bathroom floor was a bit sticky and the wall hooks were missing in bath)

Recommend to stay
I went for my cousins wedding and heard about the new holiday inn express off Gratiot. Enjoyed my stay, the room was large and had everything you needed. Breakfast was pretty decent, especially when you have hot food like eggs bacon and potatoes. Overall a nice place to stay if you’re in town.
