As they renovate this property, please don't loose its unique feeling of comfort and welcoming. I only wish that they would, when doormen and valet are not available, reduce the fees charged. The Park 600 restaurant is excellent.

Such a let down
Heat in the room didn't work, and neither did the TV. Maintenance was very helpful and friendly. Worked hard to get both of them working. While he wa sin our room, heard on his call scanner that another room was having to switch rooms because the fireplace wasn't working. Front desk staff so unhelpful, and didn't even want to acknowledge you. Did the bare minimum of their job, was like pulling teeth trying to get any information.

New self parking policy never mentioned
My reservation was made on hotels.com. The total price included all fees. We have always stayed at this property every Christmas. At check in, they never mentioned charging us $20 for parking each night!!! It's not mentioned anywhere in the fees that might be charged. We only had our rental car for one night but were charged all 3 nights! My friends lied and said they didn't have a rental car and were never charged. Self parking is not covered and you have to walk a long distance. We have never been charged in any of our other years staying here. Gross.

The Royal Park hotel is bringing back the thoughtful art of service. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We were able to see family and recharge, then knowing that the staff was going out of their way to be helpful made everything that much easier.

Everything was beautifully decorated for the holiday including the town. You had a quick walk to downtown. Very accommodating for parking the staff was informative and very hospitable. Would definitely stay again.
