Lovely for sleep in a cute hotel
It’s a great hotel, if you just want somewhere that you can rest up. There is a really much in the area, but it looks like it’s up-and-coming. One plus is that the greyhound bus station is about three blocks away.

Front Desk staff were excellent, attentive, and helpful. We were in town for the marathon and they were swamped but still found time to make every interaction personal and not feel rushed. Greatly appreciated. Our room was very clean, quiet, and smelled great. Always a plus when you're staying in a new hotel for the first time. A note, as the floors in the room are concrete things can be a bit louder if you drop or knock something over at night (e.g. the metal side tables, garbage can, etc.). Main floor had a bit of a musty smell near the back elevators but the higher floors were perfect. Would definitely stay again (on the higher floors) and recommend our friends do the same.

Hotel was ok at best…. Cleanliness was under average had some problems with the water draining in the shower and sink wouldn’t get hot. Worst part is we had someone try and break in our room and when we told staff the pretty much blew us off and gaslit us and did nothing to accommodate or reimburse us. Would NOT recommend and would NOT stay here again.

There was a parking fee to park there nightly. I was charged $10 for every night that I was there. Also there was a unexpected $150 hold on my account. Once I got there they said for incidentals. Thankfully the money was returned to me, but that was an unexpected inconvenience that was not aware of

The check in was amazing and the guy was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were pretty plain, they tried to go modern but the furniture was cheap and there was no carpet on cement floors. The ability to walk around downtown Detroit was great and we found some cool places to eat

Conveniently located nearby downtown Detroit, as well as Corktown which has a number of food options within. Easily accessible parking which is hard to find as part of a hotel perk.

Loved staying here for the Detroit Half-Marathon! The staff was very welcoming--there was even a bonfire one night! Plus it was within walking distance of Batch Brewery and Brew Detroit.

We ended up at Trumbell and Porter after a lousy experience trying to check in at another hotel. The check in experience here was super--most cheerful, helpful staff--really turned everything around! Seriously, really fantastic service.

The Staff are a vibe! They are super friendly, laid back, and helpful. A 24/7 convenient shop onsite is pretty cool too. Although its not super close to the Sports area, if you need to get those steps in, this is your place!

room was clean, nice shower, friendly/helpful staff and restaurant on premises was very good. Only recommendation would be to have a set drawers for our clothes in addition to a clothes hanger, a coffee maker, and free parking. would've been nice. Other than that, our stay was great!
