Enjoy the community beach area (shared by 7 units), swimming, fishing and crabbing dock, a private boat slip, plus it's just a short 2 block walk to the ocean and Dewey's award winning clean and pet-friendly beaches. Sip your morning coffee or a cocktail at sunset on the private, expansive deck with stunning panoramic views of the Rehoboth Bay. Located in the heart of Dewey Beach off Read Avenue, Pelican Paradise is the perfect summer or year-round getaway! Walking distance to indoor and outdoor dining, entertainment, kid's playground, watersports rentals, a quick trolley ride to the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk (less than 2 miles away) and just a 10 minute car ride to incredible tax-free shopping (including over 100 brand-name outlet stores). Wonderful vacation rental offers 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, including 3 queen beds in three bedrooms and a bunk bed with 2 full-size mattresses in the 4th bedroom. Bonus: beach chairs, a kayak and crab traps. Parking included - 2 reserved spaces in Condominium parking lot located in front of home + 1 Dewey Beach Parking Permit (for parking off-premises). Pelican Paradise is a non-smoking property. Guests pay a $150 cleaning fee for every stay. Dog friendly with $300 minimum pet fee and signed addendum. Number of dogs & breed restrictions may apply. Sheets and towels are not included, but available to rent. Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards (subject to a 2.75% Convenience Fee). We also accept E-checks with no fees, as well as personal checks. Beautiful location
We had a great time at this property. Weather didn't cooperate but between the selection of games movies and karaoke that were available it made it tolerable. The location is amazing. It was walking distance to everything Dewey Beach has to offer. One thing I think should be clear in the listing is that it is connected to other condos in the rear. The pictures don't show that. Otherwise everything from check in to check out was simple and easy.
