The building was uniquely and lovingly restored. Our room was in the attic, and the shower was transparent, and set in the middle of the room. The toilet was in a small closet, but you could stand up in it.
If that’s not your style, I would advise you to request a room other than the attic.
Jerome, the owner and manager was wonderful. Very accommodating. The breakfast was lovely, served at a long common table which facilitated visiting with all of the other guests.
That location is close to the centre of the old town, across the Square from a beautiful old church in which we heard singing and bells in the afternoon. Completely walkable even for senior citizens if you don’t mind cobblestones.
I would definitely recommend this Maison, but I would avoid the attic room.
