"We had such an incredible time at this hotel! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the communal areas are lovely and maintained really well, and the location is great if using the train as it’s directly next to the station. We were staying at the hotel during the power outage in Spain and the staff did their best to make us comfortable! They worked incredibly hard to provide food/drink and power to lobby area for people to use, and were very patient with everyone’s frustrations. Breakfast is great- especially the coffee! And the little patisserie downstairs does the most incredible apple cake. Our only negatives are that there is limited space by pool for size of hotel so we were unable to sit outside on power outage day because too many people were there (but that was is exceptional circumstances). Also the lift is really annoying. If you are on the 2nd floor for example and going down it will prioritise higher floors before coming to you so by the time it gets to you you can’t fit in with bags etc- we were waiting for 5-10 mins a few times. Small things but just good to note! "
