If you think you would enjoy the pleasure of paying for the following then Hotel ABBA is the place for you!!! Revolving entry door that is broken and a safety hazard...(main entry btw) Poor service at restaurant - may take your menu but not your order Worn, dingy, and dirty carpet in halls & rooms Small rooms Mildew/mold in bathroom A/C thermostat with knob that will not indicate or adjust temp Thumping club music at midnight on Sunday that can be heard as you lay in bed trying to sleep Hotel manager that will not reach out to you to discuss issues

Abba Playa Gijon Hotel is in a great location a very short distance from the main Gijon beach, with fabulous views from the roof terrace of the beach sea, promenade and old town. Great restaurants and shopping very close by. And free parking in the street outside the Hotel. The swimming pool was a real treat and the staff were very friendly and helpful. nice place to stay.a little noisy for traffic but we requested for room change and they did it without any problem.room need same update like no usb outlets for cellphone or hair conditioner.breakfast was pretty good and really nice staff.

The hotel is different, but very cool. The staff was mostly friendly and the vibe was good. The biggest complaint was that the shower was very dirty with mold. A little far from downtown but still walkable.

Great hotel in Gijon
The Abba Playa is located close to the beach and all amenities for travellers. The front desk staff were especially helpful and super friendly. Having a cocktail at the rooftop bar is a must. Rooms are clean and well equipped and the buffet breakfast delicious. I would recommend this hotel.

Enjoyable stay in Gijón
The location is superb as opposite the beach with central shopping area close by ! The top floor open air bar is also superb. I was highly surprised and impressed to find a bottle of cider in an ice bucket when returning after dinner on my first evening .
