Don’t let the pics on the website fool you! This place was disgusting. Front desk staff was indifferent and unfriendly. We were originally put in a room that had an overpowering cleaning chemical smell. My pet and I were then moved to a “pet section.” Room smelled like dogs and was worn out and broken down. On the first floor the window had no lock and the room was completely vulnerable to anyone from the outside. When I reported this to the front desk I was handed a screwdriver. I didn’t feel secure in the room. There’s nothing appealing about this place and the room was over $100! With many other nearby hotel options this is not one I would return to. I’d rather sleep in my car.

I don’t recommend

Building, inside and out; and the grounds are in desperate need of some TLC…. Musty odor in our room. Had to hold the toilet lever for a count of 15 seconds for it to flush toilet paper…. Fan in bathroom made loud noise, and came on with the light.

Gun Smoke Lives

This was a last minute unplanned stopped due to storms on our planned route. The hotel is old and hasn't been updated but that might be one of its charms. It was western decor and you might feel like the Gun Smoke characters would be comfortable there. In the center of all the rooms is a great pool, hot tub and volleyball court. I could see this would be a good place for a family reunion! The staff was friendly and helpful and we were happy for a warm bed on a cold day after a long drive.

This place isn't by any means a 5 star hotel, but the staff here went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Morris and Yalondra were very helpful. The restaurant on site has amazing food. We will definitely stay here again.

Hmmmm

The hotel is aging and has iconic decor. The pool and hot tub was inviting, has an indoor volleyball net! The rooms were basic. Unfortunately, our room floor was saturated with water? Very musty smell. We were so tired we turned the fan on high and called it a night. The gen.mgr. gave us a comp night or free breakfast, but, as we were just passing thru, and Got the Hell out if Dodge!

My stay was wonderful it's kinda like spending the night in a museum. The room was clean, there are some things that need updating. The carpet had snags and unraveling a long the bathroom door. The staff were kind. I really want to stay again with my kids.
