The property is centrally located. It is 26 miles from Zagreb Airport. Things to know:
The taxi drivers are thieves. Do not pay more than 100-180 kuna ($15-25) for a taxi from the airport to the hotel (ask before you accept the ride and ask for a receipt) i was charged 380 kuna by a taxi thief, this is robbery.
The surrounding area is very touristic, pay for the hotel breakfast, it is very good.
The rooms are basic, if you just need a room that is 3-5 min walking to the center, this is a good option. If you need amenities, go somewhere else.
The registration staff is extremely nice and very accommodating. They allowed us early check in and helped us to find a bus to Split. She even called us a taxi who wouldn't rob us of our last kuna for the drive to the bus station!
There is no airport shuttle to/from this hotel, plan accordingly.
Overall, I'm happy with our stay at Hotel Jadran. Also, they speak very good English so language isn't an issue.
