Book a hotel near Donner Lake, Truckee

"No frills hotel that was perfect for skiing. It's centrally located with easy access to Palisades/Alpine and Truckee. Additionally, there is an HPC EV charging station 100 yards away. The breakfast is minimal but is fine for getting food and coffee in the morning. We'll be back in the future! "

"Brought the family, including our dog, for a fun weekend away. Cabin is in an awesome location. I was a little worried about the noise from the road in front, but you can't hear it inside the house. Beautiful views across the lake. Convenient parking just behind the house for 1 car. Pretty clean. Really enjoyed our time."

"Beautiful views, spacious and nicely appointed interior. Only drawback is there are a lot of steep stairs getting to and from the house itself to the street or to the dock!"

"My family stayed at this cabin over Labor Day weekend. It fit 8 adults comfortably. The location was perfect, with public piers right across the street. It was also a short drive to Old Truckee. The beds were very comfortable and all the furniture was cozy. The only downside was the size of the shower stalls, which were a tight fit for all. Overall, however, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin to anyone."
