Book a hotel near Doshisha University, Central Kyoto

"The location is in a residential area but walkable to nearby Imperial palace. Taxis are always available.The dining options are fine but more toward the higher price. We came during winter month so a little chilly during our walks. The hotel has good amenities in the room, replenish water, tea and coffee. There is a nearby 7-11 if you crave for snacks. Staff is polite, communicate well in English. I wish that the hotel had a spa or onsen."

"Nice hotel in a prime location, near to subway line, walking distance to Gion district. Lots of shopping and restaurants around. Hotel is nice, main areas and public bath area very clean, beds not the most comfortable but otherwise great place for the price. "

"Everything was so pretty in this hotel! My wife and I loved it! The only negative points that I have is that the elevators smells to cigarrete for some reason and there's no clock on the public bath so you can't check the hour in the meantime you are in :) "

"Less than 10 mins walk to Kyoto Station. Very convenient location for tourists. Very nice guest room and public bath. Only thing I can complaint is the AC of the guest room floor aisle was bit too hot during winter. "
