After a difficult start trying to work out how to activate the keypad to enter the building, we ended up having to call the proprietor.
After managing to enter the property, we had another problem.
Which one was our room?
Another phone call!
Apparently we were meant to have received a text a day earlier but I hadn't, but the text was resent and by now knew how to operate the key pad.
Room was lovely. Actual plug sockets next to the beds.
Plenty of tea and coffee supplies.
No wardrobe, just a hang rail, ended up using the small cupboard under the tea and coffee, sharing my clothes with the iron and hairdryer!
Bathroom was cosy, shall I say, but the shower was powerful and hot.
WiFi was hit and miss, and that was after you ended up with the right password as the password in the welcome pack was wrong, but the person who texted me back with the right password acted like it was MY fault I got the password wrong and didn't reply when I told her what she texted me and what was printed was different.
I couldn't remember if breakfast was included, but was pleased to see it mentioned in the welcome pack, served from 7.30-9.30.
We got down there at 8.50, only to find a breakfast free room, despite signs telling us to "help ourselves" there wasn't even so much as a bowl of cornflakes! So we had to go into town and find a cafe.
