Mom and I in the Smokies ❤️

There was kids running around half the night over us and outside our room.The room was clean and everything we needed...just needs to be updated....no toothbrush at the front desk(I forgot mine).It's was within walking distance to everything downtown.

We didn’t have the breakfast, the room was dirty. The staff was very unfriendly and antisocial, especially at the front desk. The fire extinguishers are not up to code. The cases around them are broke and there’s wasps nest in them. The elevator has no permit or anything from the city where the fire department and it needs to be updated and worked on. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone.

Sooo, for the price…we were satisfied. Here’s the good, the bad, and the ugly!! THE GOOD PERFECT, safe location. Super easy to walk the Gatlinburg strip and just far enough away from all the noise. Breakfast was a bit of a mad house but very tasty. Eggs, sausage (I didn’t care for), waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt, milk coffee, tea, juices. Lobby was spacious and clean. Front desk open 24/7 Our room 1098, was extremely spacious and had a jacuzzi in the living room that worked. Shower had great pressure. No bed bugs. The king bed was very comfortable! THE BAD The shower curtain was way too short (both ways). The floors were DIRTY. Like a dirty mop had been rolled across the floor’s. I got Clorox clean up and and scrubbed the bathroom floor and the piece of floor between the bed and the bathroom. The nasty, dark areas never came clean but at least I felt better. You have to request for maid service on a daily basis or you won’t get it. We asked all 3 days and only got 1. THE UGLY Where the tub met the wall was dark and awful looking. The shower curtain was way too short. A line of rust was noticed under the faucet. The tub faucet dripped non stop. Where the shower head comes out of the wall is a hole. No cover present. The bathroom door looked like it had been propped on its side and had water damage at some point. It was scratched up-stained and was dirt like where you’d pull the door to shut it. I also cleaned that inside and out-didn’t do much good.

The out side halls & doors of rooms need paint. Makes place look rundown. The rooms are ok but need some repairs mirror w broken frame light switch that was installed out of template not corrected stains on wall. Shower was nice bed was nice but outside appliances was poor.?

Felt that hotel/motel was rundown. Main lobby area was fine but not the building where our room was. Elevator was old. Room was old. There was hair stuck on shower walls making me think bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. Pillows on the bed were not comfortable neither was the mattress,

Clean your own floors.

Check in went smooth but when we got to room there was a filthy wash cloth in shower. Next morning I spilled some coffee, took towel to wipe it up and found floor was filthy also. Reported both to front desk. Cleaning came in again and floor was still dirty.

First room was dirty and had a used rag and used bars of soap in the tub along with hair and crumbs on and around the bed, and unit smelled of urine. The second room ( which we took because we were tired after driving 8 and a half hours) had no soap, conditioner, or body gel, and very little shampoo. Asked the front desk for some, she said that house keeping would be up the next morning to refill the containers.... That never happened..... Drywall mud covering a water damaged wall (seemed to be covering mold or mildew) water damaged ceiling tiles, warped ceiling tiles which opened up to the open area between floors, crumbs around the bed, door chain broken off and missing, water leaking outside the door from above unit. And the pool was green and full of algae. Room 129 was the second room can't remember the number of the first room

The girl that checked us in wasn’t friendly at all. She acted like she didn’t know what she was doing. The motel it self was clean and okay. Just getting in and out when you leave is hard.

I stayed once before at this property and it was great. But on the second time around, everything horrible. However, not enough stuff, the room was unmanaged need a upgrade. Paint coming off the wall, my bathroom was dirty had to buy cleaning supplies and cleaned it up myself. Had dirty pillows cases on my bed. Decided not to returned next season. 😒

The room was filthy! Hair all in the floor. Mold growing on most surfaces. Couldn’t even see out the window and the smell was damp and horrible. The breaker box was only covered with a piece of vinyl flooring stapled to the wall with breakers exposed. When we went to the front desk immediately after checking in we were told we would be given a full refund. Now they won’t answer any calls from myself or Expedia. We have tried numerous times and I am far beyond dissatisfied!

The pool was in poor condition to the point that I reached out to the front desk 3 times to get an answer why the water was cloudy and if it was safe to use, never got an answer, the common areas had cigarettes butts for days that never got cleaned, we stayed 4 days but the dirty areas remained the same, my final complaint is that the bathroom door could not be closed, this unreported and nothing was done. One positive thing is, the location of the place is convenient to get to many attractions since it is located walking distance to most attraction in the heart of Gatlinburg.
