Location was great. Everything within walking distance. Hotel is old and definitely needs some upgrades. Also parking garage very hard to park a full size truck

First I have to say the location was excellent. Everything was within walking distance. However, the property is old. Not old and charming. Just old and in need of upgrades. Parking garage has water pouring from the ceiling and it is hard to maneuver a full sized truck into a parking space. Next visit to Gatlinburg I will stay in the same area but will look for a newer hotel.

The bears warnings are real! 😁 We only stayed 2 nights but saw black bears 4 different times right in front of the hotel. It was fun.

Everything was great, it was quiet, even though we were directly over the pool. So the kids were a bit noisy. Beautiful view of the mountain, room was clean, Bed extremely comfortable. Last day, my partner found a huge cockroach, crawling across the floor, he used my sneaker to kill it. A few minutes later, the little critter was up and moving again! It took a few smashes to finally send him to cockroach heaven and down the toilet. Other than that, no issues whatsoever! Highly recommend!

They gave us 2 room keys, one didn't work. I was told to park on level 2 whick I did Friday night, parked on level 1 Saturday after breakfast, got a call Saturday evening telling me i needed to move my vehicle because I was parked where tall vehicles park but all around me were small cars. I wasn't happy that i had to move but no one else had too
