I booked a 4 bed suite and there was only three beds. The property nor Travelocity cared to correct the situation….basically pointed the fingers at each other, and said tough luck.

Found a dirty comb with nasty hair in it up in closet where extra pillow and blanket were. It was touching the pillow I wasn’t able to use it. Might want to change pillow case on that. Dishwasher still had dishes in it. There is a plate in cupboard that still has something on it. Dirty. Room was fine other than that.

Spent a good amount of money ( they won’t allow price to be given) and here’s what I received, a very noisy suite, one of the bedrooms was adjacent to the parking garage and there were people outside of the room drunk and arguing, not to mention the very audible traffic of the garage, the floors were super squeaky, no sound proofing whatsoever, could hear all noise from hallways, above and below us! Kitchen was suppose to be a fully equipped one but had only 1 plate for 7 guests which is what the suite slept! Forward to breakfast, very rude staff, to the point that they questioned if we were guests because we used the stairs to come from the first floor to the second, like what? Why did that concern them, so when my adult daughter looked at them strangely because she was confused by the questioning, one of the ladies called her the B word, said why you looking at me like that, B I could never ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone, just know to that it will cost you $38 per night to park in the garage which is ridiculous, the hotel should have validated it, So highly disappointed HILTON!!! Go stay at Holiday Inn Express, way cheaper and a better place honestly, food is way superior! Staff too! I will say the young man upon check in was very nice and friendly!

Location of the property for our music visit to GR was excellent. 10 minute walk to venue and associated restaurants. Room was very tidy, but essentially in the basement. No outside view to speak of. It is an older repurposed building and they have limitations with space.

Unfortunately we were somewhat disappointed in the property. The room was located on the first floor with a window that looked out into the hallway right next to the bed, kinda odd. When we asked if any additional rooms were available, they said they were sold out for the night when their website said otherwise. Felt like there was little privacy and for the money we paid, we were disappointed.

The morning breakfast area crew really make this area spotless and are constantly making sure everyone has anything they could want. You can tell they want it to be great for you. The room was fine. My husband had dog hair collected all over his shoes. A few dogs passing each other in the breakfast area had a growling showdown. Not impressed. The drains were so slow in the sink and bath tub. That was kind of gross. The location is fabulous for getting all over downtown.

Stayed 2 nights during ArtPrize. It was walkable to all the exhibits. We enjoyed Grand Rapids except there are no good dining options nearby, only fast tourist food. There is a macaron shop though! The suite was spacious and well appointed. The staff were top rate. Breakfast was pretty good. Liked the rooftop bar with fire pit. Would recommend.

Downtown gem, with character and great service
The hotel was beautiful, the room was enormous and the separate seating area was amazing to get work done. It was very conveniently located to the Van Andel Arena, and service was amazing. We'll definitely stay here again, when we're in the area!

When we got to our room later that evening I found a bug of some sort on my pillow in bed. So I took a pic and asked for them to completely change our bedding and clean our room. After several texts back and forth with them everything was to be taken care of however when we got back to our again the next day nothing was done. Not even a clean service which should be done daily as we had a 2 night stay. Bed not changed or made. So by then housekeeping went home for the night so front desk staff had to come and change our bedding and give us new bath towels. They did end up comping our room for first night only however upon check out the added fees on that Im sure they were trying to make some compensation up that was already included in our stay. So I had to call back up and ask for $80 in parking fees to be removed as it was already included in price. It was just one thing after another...we did like location of property and are room was quiet.

Parking garage nightmare
Our room was very nice and quiet, breakfast was great! Our room phone did not work from day one and we reported it to the staff and it was never fixed. Our key card NEVER worked in the parking garage, had to call the front desk every time to get out of the garage. They even rekeyed our card and it still didn’t work, very frustrating!
