The house is beautiful. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed except for the in room coffee maker & ironing board listed in the amenities. They were missing and we are early risers and like to have coffee so that could’ve been better we didn’t realize their absence until 6am, so verify before going to bed.
The gourmet chocolate was a single mushed Lindor...
Our room was the Azalea room, which is on the front of the house near the road. If you are a light sleeper, this might not be the room for you. The bed however was very comfortable and the linens were quality and comfortable.
The bathroom was clean with plenty of fluffy white towels and courtesy shampoo & conditioner.
The in-room window AC unit kept things nice and cool and also added steady white noise, but needs to have the intake vent cleaned as it was quite dirty. In the public areas corners and window seats need a little attention (bugs & debris). Attention to details matters.
Breakfast was yummy: scrambled eggs, sausage, hash-browns, and French toast with strawberries. There was also a choice of cereal and very overripe bananas.
I would recommend the Sweet Cane Inn just check to see that the stated amenities are available upon arrival.
